My mom makes the exact Nestlé recipe but adds 1 normal size package of vanilla pudding dry mix. Makes all the difference. It's probably like the malted milk but without the aftertaste. Also Blue Bonnet margarine and not butter for that recipe. For some reason it makes them so much chewier!!

Try using different types of rough cut chocolate bars in cookies. For instance, I love Sam's Choice Sea Salt Caramel, along with some chocolate chips, in my chocolate chip cookies. Sometimes I put some flaky sea salt too. Adds a nice sweet and salty contrast!

I thought of a good hack while watching your last video. When you roll out dough (like for sugar cookies or pizza dough or whatever) use either parchment paper or (what I recommend) silicone baking sheets. You just put it on the counter and flour it like normal then the dough in the middle and flour then another on top before you roll. It keeps mess to a minimum and is more sanitary. You don’t have to worry about scrubbing your counters just take the baking sheet to the sink and wash it all there. You can also use the silicone sheet (or parchment paper or aluminum foil) to bake the cookies on and you once again just wash that, you don’t have to worry about scrubbing all the junk off your baking sheets. Nice and easy clean up! :)

If you want reverse chocolate chip cookies replace some of your flour with cocoa powder(like ~1/4+1/8 cup out of a recipe that calls for 1.75 cups flour) and use vanilla or white chocolate chips. I also do a similar thing for banana bread

I've made bacon chocolate chip cookies before!!! But the bacon was mixed into the batter at the same time you mix in the chocolate chips. They turned out pretty good, bacon was pretty strong, but the bacon saltiness was throughout the cookie. I think you should try it out that way before completely crossing bacon off of your cookie list! Espically since I made a double batch of thoes cookies and they only lasted a few DAYS!!!!!
