We spent $20 a bag when it came to ordering All Dressed and Ketchup chips on Amazon to be delivered in the USA. Fortunately, the military moved us to upstate NY, two years ago, and we now live 20 miles from the Canadaian border so I can pop over whenever the craving hits!
@Patti-19625 ай бұрын
This was a good one, Rachel!! I would puree the peaches, mix the lime zest throughout the yogurt, then layer it in a glass, adding honey on top of each fruit layer. Then you have a great texture. AND, I just ordered edible eyes so I can make the "squid" crescent roll hot dogs for my grandchildren when we visit in a few weeks!! What a fantastic idea!!🥳🥳

My great aunt takes leftover watermelon and mashes it. She then puts it into ziploc freezer bags (gallon size) and adds in vodka. She squishes it around with the bag sealed shut then sticks them in the freezer. It’s ready to pour up as a sort of watermelon (adult) slushy.

A great summer recipe, especially for camping is Pillsbury Biscuit dough wrapped around a wooden dowel rod. You rotate it over the camp fire until it turns a nice golden brown. When it’s ready, you take it off and add butter and jam and it is DELICIOUS! Only problem is you can’t just have one, they are that good. 😋

I can totally see the lime zest in the yoghurt, as this is often added to plain vegan yoghurt to give it that funky fresh wort of taste you get from plain cow's yoghurt. The best "fresh milk" in vegan form I ever had was one that Lidl sold here in Germany a while back under their in-house vegan brand Vemondo. It was a coconut-rice milk blend that just had salt and lemon zest added and it was sold chilled and I swear, to this day I've never had a dairy free milk that tasted so close to chilled cow's milk. I loved using it with cereal or just drink it on it's own as an Ayran alternative, because when you shook it up it got all bubbly and a bit more creamy, quite reminiscent of Ayran. It was often sold out where I live, but Lidl got rid of it for whatever reason.

You preparing the margharita mixes in the dark like a ninja with the ninja machine was amazing. I would have added some fresh grated lime zest the next day, too. Strawbery and watermelon is a great combo as well. ❤ And I wonder if you could roll the squits in a slice of cheese underneath the dough.

I would take the hotdog slice it halfway through length ways fill it with sliced cheese, usually cheddar, bake it until the hotdog’s are curling some and the cheese is melted then put toothpicks through the hot dog in the front and the back and make the wheels out of chunks of pineapple. I would make those at my grandparents house every weekend and then I also made them for my kids and now my grandkids and they all love them. 😊
