In case anyone's wondering I think the Dior lipstick Kathleen tried is the velvet finish. There are both matte and velvet finish for the 999 shade BUT the colors are slightlyyyy different!! I've done a lot of research(lol) cause I've been wanting to find the perfect red lipstick for a while. Dior says the 999 is the universal true red shade that looks good on any skin but in my opinion it has a tiny bit of orange in it(both matte and velvet). So if you prefer a blue-toned red or if you have very cool undertone, this is not for you!

Before you even started I knew you'd mention Mikayla. I looove her tiktoks too! Also, I saw someone say it'd be better to just buy regular lip tints/stains than to purchase those single-use q-tip type ones since those are more wasteful, and they're basically the same thing, just packaged differently.
