I received a sample of the mascara from sephora and first time applying happened to me as well. But the more I played around with it I grew to love it. You really have to take your time with it to get it on the lashes. It builds very easily, so I never double dip the wand! Whatevers on the wand the first time you dipped works well enough for one eye 😊

Gorgeous!!! You always kill it with the eye looks. I always take your mascara recs very seriously, because we have very similar lashes. I basically never wear falsies either, pretty much because I don’t need them so there’s no point lol, just like you. I love that NARS palette. I’ve had a Sephora MUA do an eye look on me with it, but I haven’t bought it because it reminds me so much of the small Huda palette in Mauve, which I have already.

Red & orange shadows are your JAM! Your eyes are extra green 😘 Also with the mascara, it seems like a really wet formula so it might be better in a few days. But in the meantime if you use just a light coat it should be ok. Your lashes looked great after just a few swipes, too much wet product makes them clump together

That mascara looks terrible! You may know this already, but if your mascara clumps you can pour micellar water on a spoolie and then run it through your lashes. It REALLY helps!

*My tip for saving lashes that have clumped up* (works best on mascara that's still wet, so if you wait between coats, this probably won't work): I remove the excess from the other half of the lash by lightly running them through my fingers (i.e. softly clamping down on the outer half of the lash with my thumb and index finger and lightly pulling away from the eye) then I use a clean mascara wand to brush through (pro tip: save your favorite mascara brush for this; take your old or dried out mascara tube, remove the brush and wash+rinse it until its clean and has no mascara remnant left). Now use the mascara again and make sure to brush through the lashes with the clean wand whenever things get a bit too clumpy.

I think with some mascara formulas, less is more. It's hard to stop the brush because most of them need to be brushed thru to declump or build up. Seems this formula doesn't need brushing thru. Hope I get a sample in a sub box. Thanks for trying out this stuff.

You should check out the new Lancôme Skin Feels Good Skin Tint. I know you like skin tints and this one is SUPER hydrating (has hyaluronic acid) and is super glowy/dewy with a really decent coverage for a skin tint!

I personally like the mascara. I guess it depends on the look you want. I have long eyelashes .. like they hit my glasses when i wear them and i find when the mascara separates them, they just look like weird lol but i i like how this one kind of clumps them together. once you are finished the look, it kind of comes together i find and makes a really dramatic look. i don't wear false eyelashes because i can't get them on for the life of me so i like to have a mascara that creates a nice thick look
