Testing Zeekr 001 1.1 Software Update

I think the software has improved quite a bit but still no automatic parking and some of the beeps could still be a bit less in my opinion. but other than that the ACC and LCC has definitely improved! Havent seen 1 zeekr 001 in the Netherlands. Love this car. Hope they bring the 007 too

I haven't seen that many either ;-) but when I do it's still special to see even if I drive one myself 😅. Currently there are no plans to bring the Zeekr 007 to Europe (I already asked Zeekr about this) also the facelift version is not planned but that can change of course...i hope it comes to europe as well because the 007 looks great!

Lane keep assist has been improved in ability to adapt to more variable lane widths.

Does the lane-assist system automatically activate on the highway, or do you need to turn it on each time you driveor when it is diabled when chaging lanes?

As far as I know it’s an option you need to tick on in one of the menu options…and it will stay that way even if you leave your car. This option is for the automatic lane switching. Pressing once on the steering wheel activate the ACC and pressing twice shortly after each other will activate the LCC. When you turn on your blinkers the car will automatically go to the left or right when it’s safe.

I´m about to buy my first electric car, but its hard to know what is the best buy..... Many people recommend Tesla but I like the looks of Zeekr better, what is your take on pros and cons -Tesla vs Zeekr? Btw, you make great videos with fair testing!

You've come to the Right person! I've owned a Tesla Model S (2018-2024) and recently in March 2024 switched to the Zeekr 001. well the 2018 Model was already old so it's not really a good comparison but I think the Zeekr 001 drives better than the Tesla Model S. Pros of the Tesla: is definitely Mature Software, Regular Updates, Auto parking, Video on Demand like Netflix and yeah it's worldwide known so the brand has already made their name. Cons of the Tesla: is definitely the look...kinda boring if you asked me...but also the interior is not exciting. Pros Zeekr 001: Looks! the car looks amazing Interior and Exterior. Lots of people will look at this car (it's exciting, new, fresh). A plus is definitely The Sport Mode ;-) if you try it you will know..it's insanely fast with the 544 BHP. The Massage Seats, The handling and drivability of this car is far more superior to the Tesla. Cons Zeekr 001: It is new so there are still some software issues, No video on demand apps as of today (hopefully in the future), No Auto parking yet. Only Available in Sweden and Netherlands as of now but they are expanding to France, Belgium, Germany, Denmark I believe... It's an interesting Comparison I might make a video about it since I have owned both...Hope this helps a bit to make a choice.

Really valuable video but honestly, you need to trim your content. This video could easily be 17 minutes without all the filler and constant repetition. Editing is a skill.

Thanks for your tip. I'm kinda new with shooting videos so this is all new to me too but i'll make sure to shoot shorter videos it kinda is a bit long indeed...i agree...

That's on my list of videos to make 🙂i'm currently just waiting for the car to be at around 15% so I can drive to the Fast Charger station to charge to 80%.
