Love the "not for DiY" at the beginning. I'm a homeowner and after 10 years of "professional HVAC" incompetence, I'm buying all the equipment now and doing it myself. Fed up.

I totally understand. There are a lot of bad techs or sales people in disguise. But we're not all bad! I made this channel to try to help techs be better and to help homeowners be aware of what they're getting into whether they do it them self or hire a company to look at their unit. The disclaimer in the beginning is designed to let you know that the video is intended for people that are familiar the HVAC systems. Most people won't understand everything I'm talking about. I don't want people to misunderstand something and damage their unit or hurt themself. Thank you for watching and commenting.

My story mirrors yours. I got everything I need to service and install HVAC systems that I own. My experiences with HVAC pros has been absolutely horrible. EPA 608 license and a few dozen hours of KZbin has been enough for me to save $30k so far. The next year will be busy as well. Honestly, it would be worth it for just a single installation.

Going back to hvac work again and needing to get some new equipment, considering this setup in place of my old Sman stuff I sold a couple years ago...Like the wireless probes, wires were a pain and it is just smaller

Unless they changed the probes up from mine they take 3 batteries. One of the batteries goes down in and is hiding from you.

What probe did you use for a wet bulb measurement?
