interesting video, especially for qualified teachers wanting to teach abroad. I m a qualified teacher in Switzerland but in a state government secondary school but interested in the IB.

I wanted to learn about the IB education. I was disappointed that you seemed to emphasize activism and a particular ideology. I found a video that did a great job of presenting the IB education in an unbiased manner. I would appreciate if you would watch the lecture by Michael Carslaw. He is the Headmaster at St Leonards. He presented the International Baccalaureate program well.

Sabere Synergistic Board is the best way to apply "Approaches To Learning" Imagine differentiated instruction, collaborative, student-centered, and skill acquisition, all in one. Teachers who have not used Sabere Synergistic Board will be overworked and burned out. SSB is sweeping Asia. Asian schools are adopting this evolution in education. Go figure!!! It makes the teacher's job easy and increases students' engagement, learning, and learning gains. It is the board that teachers usually say "Oh my god" when they see it. Check it out. It will turn your teaching life around. Innovation Drives Education!!!

I totally understand you leaving head position to coming back to just teaching my sister did the same because she loves teaching and spending time with students rather than being Cordinator

I'm 48 and from corporate. I embrace IB system of education and at this age now, I'm keen to move into as IB teacher. Can you guide me how can I proceed? I'm BS (Phy, Math) MS in computers. My interest is in 9-12 grade science. Not to mention I do not have IB experience.

I feel you brah, I was a corporate ho in NY. Changed careers in my 50's (after paying off loans, mortgages, ex wives etc). The most effective thing to do is PGCE , usually about a year. It's essential, because even though we KNOW a lot from experience doesn't mean we CAN teach it. Also when doing PGCE you get time in classes - to see if you really wanna do this. So after the course you'll have THEORY & EXPERIENCE

Just a quick feedback: The amount of "Ummmm"s in the video is very overwhelming. I wasn't able to listen to the content as every couple of words I would hear an "ummmmm" and this was very distracting for me.
@luffs0022 ай бұрын
It’s not off-putting at all, and it’s completely normal. “Um” is what is known as a filler word. I’m sure you use fillers in English or in your native language. She’s taken her time to educate people on IB, and all you can do is comment on her using a filler. By the way, feedback is an uncountable noun. *just a quick piece of feedback

@luffs002 It is off-putting for me, and VERY off-putting. I could not focus on what was important because of it, and I was very clear about that. I did not say it's the same for others, so, not sure what the point of your comment is 🤷♀️
