Oh thanks, much appreciated! I really felt privileged out there on the trail, just soaked it in. Been to Norway for many trips and there is amazing roads and scenes pretty much everywhere. The Trans Euro Trail is drawn more thru the highlands, rather than thru the fjord landscape wich is ore dramatic. But the se highland parts feels more remote and it is less people, You can ride for hours without seeing anyone. Just loved it, cheers! 💪🤠🔥🍺

Digital genealogy is very common in Sweden (and Norway), chances are in favor that You could find very detailed info rather easy if You have the details on your closest relatives. Could not agree more on the caring attitude we expressed thru the bus stop, You can see it in other things as well. I just had a stop for a short rest and was amazed when seeing the care and work put down in this. Ahh, i have seen a couple of Husqvarna Exp. a lot of goodies on this bike! Liking the long version. I watched the series, much better to see as I can. Lot better continuity of the trip. Great trip. The return to the past on the hiking trail was special. Likewise, a lot of memories I have in my 68 years of places and friends of old times. Not everyday you get to break in a new shitter in the Scandi mountains. Is that a Helle Nord Knife? If not? I've traveled alone over thirty years with work and even more on two wheels. All alone most all the time. You make a few friends and acquaintances along the way. It seems when alone you soak up the experiences even more . An awareness of the surrounding comes over you. Just you and no one else. It's a very different experience one and the world. Good looking knife blanks at the metal work @ school. Cool bottle opener. Great ride Mattias. Do some more.

Thanks Sam! I like to travel both with others and alone, quality time in two different ways. This summer i went to Lofoten with my van, alone with my dog. It felt wierd at start, but hey i was happy to do it this way this time. I experienced magic moments while this also made me do an inner journey. I will actually do a mini series of this during the winter. The knife is a Casström SFK (Swedish Forest Knife). Very popular among bushcrafters. I just love it. I need to go out there again! ...with a fishing rod packed 😁👍

A great movie in which I would like to do myself...at approx 2:05mins is interesting...you made some good points and we all feel many emotions through a solo trip. We all have different and the same reasons for A solo trip. I have done a few now and I found them extremely addictive. it would be interesting if a few of us from different countries actually combine parts of a trip...coming together in different ways.
@Braapncamp
@Braapncamp 6 ай бұрын
Thanks 🙏 Addictive is what it is! The emotions 2:03:30 are essential to get into the right mood. What i refer to is in my experience applicable for all solo travelers, but i specific think about the travels in vast and wild areas. On a motorcycle, you know that you pretty speedy and actively could get to urban areas when trail hiking by feets and a backpack only with you gear and your mind to rely on, it levels up even more. I have met people on the trails, not being raised on the countryside (which i partly was) that feels extremely uncomfortable being solo a day or days from civilisation. That goes beyond the "solo feeling" and they both doubt on their selves and focus on the risks in the wild. The interesting thing is to y experience at least is that the "3rd-day rule" applies both to the emotions being solo and what that regards and the feelings of being very vulnerable. Passing the individual time to accept, enjoy and be a part of the adventure is key my best tip to anyone with less solo time in the wild or just solo. This also applys to overcome the physical sourness pretty much everyone feels first days on a long hike. With that said the "Hey ho let's go!" feeling in the start of a trip is priceless 😁👍. This is a very interesting topic 💪🤠🔥.
@sprockets_shafts
@sprockets_shafts 6 ай бұрын
@@Braapncamp yes I completely agree…the various type of emotions as you say from the very start in the first day right through to the end, the adrenaline that is present, excitement, loneliness, the unknown, new friendships and more that accumulates to the whole experience…enjoying the moment in your own time. Many of my friends don’t understand 😂. But they don’t need too as I will instead 😂.

Rekommenderas!

Motoz Desert, but less agressive tires are great on these trails as well.

The speed of 100 kilometres per hour on a forest road really impressed me! How likely is it that there is a motorcyclist travelling at the same speed on the opposite side of the road?
@Braapncamp
@Braapncamp 6 ай бұрын
Hi, as long as Tou stay on the Trans Euro Trail type of spread routes, the chances or risks definitely exist. On 12 days I did not meet much other riders at all. Every third day maybe. Never in a dangerous situation, more like on side of the road. But, our forest roads are the working place for forestry, so to meet a timber truck that takes all space on the road is more likely and something to take in account. I never ever take shortcuts I corners you can't se thru. I know about a few riders that have past life this way, hitting forestry trailers or unexpected road blocks (bars) at gravelroads. I had a close but controlled encounter with a forestry trailer truck at the later part of this trip. I need some speed to have fun on the travels. With the boys and without packing, the tempo and speeds are jacked up I bit more. 70Km/h is the legal base speed on gravel/forest roads in Sweden.

Tackar!

Whar kind of app did you use to buy ice cream and pay at the roadblock?
@Braapncamp
@Braapncamp 3 ай бұрын
I just used the Samsung "wallet". My bank cards are digital in the app. Just the way i pay more or less everywhere. There are other type of apps as well like Apple pay. Very handy as backup as well. Feels Secure to use your fingerprints as code instead of using the buttons on a machine with the physical card.

Brilliant videos. I will either buy an F900 or the KTM 890 because of these vids. Do you get bears / wolves on your trips? How would it work in Sweden if you had injury / accident, how far are you from support? Many thanks
@Braapncamp
@Braapncamp Ай бұрын
Thanks! Sweden and Norway are covered to get reasonable quick kelp with heli if needed. Wild life is nothing to worry about, beers and wolfs are shy and avoid people. But moose and wildboars etc. Are leathal to hit on the road at speed. Happy Trails 😁🙌

Hello friend, your motorcycle is very nice... Thank you for sharing this beautiful video with us... I send greetings from Istanbul, Turkey... Norway is naturally a very beautiful country... If you put a map on the right corner of the screen during your motorcycle trip, you will be able to see where you are. It's okay... It would be nice if you could recommend places to pitch a tent for people who will travel to Norway by motorcycle across the country... Thank you.

Thanks for your comment 🙏 I agree on that visualize with a map for each day would be nice for viewers to follow the trip better. An improvment for next trip! There are alot of places to stop along the Swedish and Norwegian TET route. I was wildcamping in the forest where i could find water for a bath and for cooking. There are nice campings to pitch tents or rent a cabin as well along the route. Türkiye would be nice to explore as well some day, Happy Trails!

Damn car @1:10 They are the same in every country. He/She saw you coming and you had the right of way, but he/she still had to go, and very slowly over that... @20:40 You first filter the eater, then boil it.... *herm*! lol @36:02 I see, on the left, the 4 essential bottles for any "1st aid" kit :D I have two questions: - If money wasn't an objection, would you get another bike, and if yes, which one? - What was that tower at 1:06:00?
@Braapncamp
@Braapncamp Ай бұрын
You are the first commenting on the car, the video does not really make the situation justice (as always) it was closer than you think. I got grumpy on that one 😂. In the original series of episodes from this trip, with better resolution, there are alot more material I probably cut away 1 hour video at this "long movie", lie explanations and product talk etc. In the mountain water (from a bog) there was some small living creatures in the water. May have been mosquito caterpillars. rather filtered them away than had the cooked 😁. Cheers for the essentials. - I have a 2023 890R today so I went for another one after the 790R. I would like a AJP PR7, loved it when I test rode it, could also imagine an adventured 500 EXC. -That tower is for communication, TV/Radio etc. Happy Trails 💪🤠🔥🍺

Hehe, this was actually an experiment. I packed ingredients for 12 days meals, only things that holds up in a backpack. This without going for the freezedried packs. Not optimal for ADV, where you can store up with fresh stuff pretty much as often as you need for better cooking. It was interesting.
