Great video 👍 but it would be nice to show us how to tether to an iPad. Because most of use don’t have a studio and we shooting most of the time outside and an iPad would be amazing for tethering, but I don’t finde a good solution for that.

James I connect the cable to my r5 and I get an error I can't seem to connect what am I doing wrong I've follow so many video still unable to connect. Not I go through eos utilities and it works there please help.

Yeah they have an extension cable you can use. I believe it's also linked in the description.

When you tether to your laptop, is there a particular usb hub that you find to be the best if you don't have enough ports for power, hard drive, camera, etc?

I don't usually use a hub since that's just another hurdle for your data to cross.

Everybody uses this expensive Capture One. You don't need any software, just a monitor. I don't need to control my camera with a computer, just see the live view enlarged and the results.
