Great video and amazing tips! The Smart Folder renders itself obsolete if you tether each subject into its own folder within the Capture Folder. Make them all favourites and there you have them :)

As a high volume portrait photographer my workflow is I shoot tethered into a laptop. I share online and my assistant accesses the session on her laptop and reviews the images with the person to pick ONE for retouching. I WISH CO would allow a compare mode on the “shared” laptop. People find it easier to pick the one image they love if multiple images can be viewed side-by-side. It can be done on my laptop but not my assistant’s. Any thoughts?

I know CP has updated there product line, so there is a higher end of tethering for the "Studio" version. I am not sure how they are working that product between shooter and retoucher. I would reach out to them, because that might be a feature they have, and I just haven't used yet. I will say that CP1 really lacks in the ability to cull images compared to LRC, if you like the Survey and Compare modes, and I really do.

Thank you for the tips! However I'm trouble shooting a camera connection issue. I've updated C1, my camera firmware, the tether cord, restart my computer a million times, removed the memory card from the camera and my nikon z72 will still not read in C1. I sent my camera to nikon a few months ago for maintenance and to replace my sensor, ever since I got it back I haven't been able to tether. Tried googling how to set my camera for capturing rather than storing and haven't had luck. Hope you can help. Thank you!

On your camera @@LinetteMessina try to the following in the menu: Setup Menu: Camera Setup → USB Power Delivery: OFF

@@PhotoKitchen425 Great video- Thank you. I'm having the exact same issue. I have a Nikon z7ii and MacBook Pro. I tried both with and without the USB Power off and on. C1 still will not read my camera. It does show up in LR Classic and Smart Shooter but I am a die hard C1 user. Would love for it to work here. Please advise if you can. Thank you.

I've been trying to get my computer to see my camera but it always says camera not connected, I use a new desk top computer with Windows 11 and a Nikon D7200 camera. Is there a setting in the camera that I have to change.

I am not familiar with that camera, but there may be a PC Remote setting you need to change, so the camera is seen as a capture device, and not a storage device.
