I know it’s complicated but Josh is actually partially wrong about the party system in Wilds. You don’t have to be in a quest to see your link party, you can start an environment link from the link party menu and invite them so you can travel around together, hang out and freely start quests together. Edit: Also the cooking minigame is right there in the portable bbq pit. Josh seems really insistent on this nostalgic revisionism bit in regards to Wilds' "streamlining"

I saw people saying that guy that showed up in the new ending scene in xenoblade x was the black knight. They only showed up in a series of side quests and wore full armor and a hood and cape, so you never got to see their face. They also never had any voiced lines. They were leading a terrorist group who wanted to kill all the aliens in the city and the quests just kinda ended abruptly after a single confrontation. Really felt like there should have been more to it.
