Tetrafox - Monza (Official Music Video)

Italo-Disco I made using my 1988 Roland D-20. All sounds were from the "Bo Tomlyn One" ROM Card made by Rittor Music in 1989. Sounds were made by Bo Tomlyn, a legendary patch designer who worked to create Yamaha DX7 ROM Cards and kickstarted the ROM Card craze of the mid 80's!

Thank you! Yes, it was. This came from my new album, Terzo! (www.songwhip.com/tetrafox/terzo). All songs on this album were made only with the D-20 + my DAW for sequencing and some effects. It truly is a marvelous workstation!

@@tetrafoxofficial Can I ask if that means you fed a MIDI sequence from DAW to D20, and fed the resulting audio from the D20 back into the DAW in real time on a separate track?

Hey! What I did was I recorded the MIDI into my DAW from the D-20. After that, I quantized it and fixed it up and everything, and then, yes, I recorded the audio from the D-20, back into the DAW in real-time, on a separate track. Hope this answers your question!
