Tetris® 99 - 40th MAXIMUS CUP Gameplay Trailer - Nintendo Switch

The Tetris® 99 40th MAXIMUS CUP event runs from 12 a.m. PT on May 10 to 11:59 p.m. PT on May 13. To participate, you’ll need to be a Nintendo Switch Online member* and play the Tetris 99 online mode during the event period. You’ll earn event points based on your placement in each match. Once you’ve accumulated a total of 100 event points, a new theme will unlock, featuring art, music and Tetrimino designs inspired by the Endless Ocean Luminous game!

I really think there should be a Dr. Mario theme, but we already know Tetris is a bit upset with Nintendo including a Doctor Mario pill in the Splatoon 2 theme. I mean, I can imagine the blocks would look like Dr. Luigi capsules, and Tetris would have a hard time trying to keep Nintendo from competing with Tetris.

heres my problem, i like themes with music that sounds like energy and excitement, something that sounds like im fighting a boss. it helps me get my brain thinking and adrenaline to go fast, slow chill or relaxing music isn't gonna keep me on fucus mode when someone spam drops me a ton of blocks, without the right music i can't keep my spirits up to survive whats being thrown at me.
