It really does feel like the themes are just dropping at random now. Surprised this game is still going on strong after so many years when every other 99 (outside of F-Zero) is already gone.

Well, this and F-Zero 99 are the only ones that haven’t yet been discontinued. Of course, it’s all up to Namco-Bandai regarding Pac-Man 99’s cancellation. Nintendo’s multiplayer focused stuff seems to keep going for a long time. Still a lot of people playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, for instance, which has been out for even longer than Tetris 99. Heck, there are a lot of people still playing Pokémon Sword and Shield online.
