Christ, I remember 1985...NES just came out. Metroid was just released, and Tetris. A lot of people's first exposure to anything Russian. Amazing to know that this was 1 guy and no visuals during the development process. One of the most popular and wide spread games of all time. It's been on literally everything that had a license since 1985. This is the game you want to master if you work in a warehouse, as a trucker, or anyone else that needs good special reasoning and logic to do their job efficiently. If you can Tetris, you can load a 53' trailer no problem.

@@user-mk4or5yu9r Uh, dude, Tetris was released June 6, 1984. I had just turned 2 years old in March that year.

@@user-mk4or5yu9r What qualified for PC back then. Lol. The NES version we got in I think... 1990 with a copy of Gun.Smoke from Funco Land. Before they started making the Pop figures in Everett, WA. I have a lot of memories from the 80s and just how difficult games were back then. No hand holding. Barely a tutorial, if the devs remembered to put one in. Usually required you reading the manual to see why the game was fun. A game's particular rules usually weren't conveyed very well. Dragon Quest for example. Amazing game. Fun. A great classic. Total shit for telling you what you need to be doing to progress. Same with both Zelda games, TMNT, Metal Gear, Metroid, 8x8 Eyes, any game where there was exploration. The game plops you in a spot and that's pretty much it. Figure it out.

@@user-mk4or5yu9r Now that I think about it, playing Tetris that young is probably why I became a trucker. Lmao. I can get 7,000³' of freight into 3800³' of space. Oregon Trail probably played a huge part in that too.

A "banger" isn't something it needs to be. I'm not sure what you think of a 1892 classical composition but a "banger" isn't what I'm thinking.
