I appreciate you saying that you take your platform seriously. Year 1's are not weird. Is it weird for Alabama, is it weird for A&M, is it weird for USC, is it weird for Miami, is it weird for Texas, is it weird for OSU? You're either good or you are not. ND is going to fire their head coach too. You should have signs in year one that things are turning around. Where were the signs at Florida? And that is what is frustrating. These coaches are getting paid 10's of millions of dollars to not get the benefit of the doubt. If all of our head coaches since Urban Meyer were not given the benefit of the doubt, the Gators would have only wasted 4 years of the program's life. Instead, it's been 15+ years since we have been good. Get it right year one or get fired!!!!!

I never would have supposed, after 3 games, UF and FSU would be 1-5. And of course you have those Fla juggernauts of Miami (I don't even live in Florida and I am so disappointed to see that they have apparently reached relevance once again. At least for this season) and UCF. I loved watching the old Tebow teams. Good luck to UF and its football program. A stronger UF is good for the conference. Paper doesn't sharpen paper, and that's about where they are right now. The bright spot, assuming you can keep your players, is that you just need a solid coach with innovative coordinators. The player talent isn't the issue. It just needs to be developed and shaped into a team properly.

I blame the admin (AD) more than Napier. Before week one, AD told espn that BN will be here for a very long time, when he has never had to prove results. No coordinators have been fired in his tenure…. He never had pressure on him, he was allowed to have unlimited patience.

The Gators have allowed over 450 yards on defense in seven of 15 games. That isn't "Gator style." I've lived here since 1968 and 1979's 0-10-1 team had a "better D" than Billy and his little boy, D.C. Austin Armstrong.

The problem is the pool of candidates for hc’s just isn’t good. It really is Lane or bust. The other coaches (at the p4 level i doubt they go g5) out there either just got hired to a new place: Fisch,Key,Fran Brown or just don’t inspire anyone: Mark Stoops,Chris Klieman. They honestly might go the coordinator route getting a guy like schuman from uga, hartline from Osu or an nfl coordinator. Tough position the gators are in unfortunately

You could tell from the first 2 drives when the defense just went through the motions, it would be a long day. I still can’t understand how Florida wasn’t ready to play with max effort & emotion? He's toast. If not this week then soon. He won't last the season and frankly it's overdue. He's not built for this competition. He was not proven and was an expensive risk coming in. Gave him the benefit of the doubt but now it's over. Give Kiffin an open check and see if he takes it. Sad part is no matter who they bring in there will be fallout. I expect DJ to be in GA or Bama or somewhere he can win a Natty next year

I am not in my moms basement and I was at the game Saturday and we couldn't even get where to warm up right after the lightning delay. Got moved on our own damn field by officials. (Staff sent our players out on the after half sideline warm up routine and not either side of the 50) Even the smallest detail is very telling of the disorganized state of the program. I like Billy and think he is a great human but that really bugged me.

Sure, blow up the program again. Mullen left a bare cupboard and undisciplined mess. Napier is in year 3 coaching for the future. His recruiting has been pretty good, and DJ is raw 5 star talent who needs rep's. A little patience and give Napier one more year. Otherwise, you have a big payout ($26 mil), blow up the program again, and have to pay another HC big $$$. Not a smart move IMO. UF had to know this would take time.
