You should have got a fellowship from the dept which will make you eligible to pay instate fees. Other than that, there are other fellowships too that you can apply to after you have completed one year of your course

Nice job. It has been a long time since I graduated, but the building with the dome on top is the "Academic Building". In my day it was made up mostly of classrooms for miscellaneous departments. I had English and Math classes there among others. The campus leadership is housed in the System Administration Building (unless something has changed) that is located at the east entrance to the campus.

Dear Parth, I got admitted in a partially funded MS in Civil Engineering program in Texas & will move to Texas this Fall season. I was hoping if you could make a video for students like us about what to do to prepare for US job market. Like when should I take the FE, EIT & PE exams. When should I start taking preparation for these tests etc.

best time to take the FE exam would be as early as possible because the portion for it is just the undergraduate material... you can even study for it before coming here and then give it after you settle in. Or else you could also give during the winter break after your fall semester ends... and about the PE exam, you need to have 3 years of work experience before giving your PE, so you need to plan it accordingly btw, what specialization have you got the admit for?.... I am currently in my second semester of Structural Engineering at TAMU

Can anyone please tell me whether this university is good for "Master of Engineering in Engineering program with a specialty in cybersecurity" is good. Cause it's a multi disciplinary field. I have offers from texas a&m, University of Houston and IIT Chicago for Cybersecurity but am confused between these three.
