It was hilarious when the band just marched over the football players. Make Way For The Aggies

Houston Texans coach Aggie Gary Kubiak requested a command performance by THIS particular Band, on this particular anniversary. A National Treasure, the Fightin' Texas Aggie Band ! Aren't they just PERFECT!!

Perfect band but complete rudeness on the part of the players and the coaches to get on the field while the band performs, Shame on them. PFFFTTT to the ball players. Lack of respect and class.

I totally agree! How rude can you be??? This is the largest military band in the world. These ladies and gentlemen are soldiers. They will be commissioned officers of all the different branches of the military when they graduate. Military trumps NFL any day of the week in my book. Just ask Patrick Tillman's family.

No doubt. I love how the FTAB doesn't stop or change course for anyone. You get the feeling they'd just march right over a building if it was in the way.

@davidhfranz12 жыл бұрын
Agreed, but it's something we got used to when I was a BQ. The thing is, the FTAB were guests in their house and I blame the halftime coordinator for the Texans for not ensuring that the Aggie Band was given enough time to complete the drill before warmups.
@muhfuggus2 жыл бұрын
Something you got used to; never did this happen to me, nor my band, and I was a drum major twice. If you don’t want a band, let them know; they’ll be glad to other activities having greater value, This is about respect; it was not given. The band returned disrespect in an appropriate response.

Thanks for this great clip. The team players walking on the field was a great insult. Love the Senior boots -- my father was class of '40 -- I have his boots..Luchese boots.

interestingly, as a rule most football players (and to a larger extent all athletes) are not overpaid. most of them provide far more value to their teams than they are compensated for. keep in mind that professional sports teams are businesses, so the managers of the teams will spend on the players the amount that will make them the most money. they will never spend more than the player is worth if they can help it. that wouldnt make sense! hope this helps

the "sleazbags" (sic) are the reason those people were even there. its a football game, the band is only there to provide halftime entertainment. if the players need to warm up you cant fault them for doing that, its their job
