@@AdanBarber84 on the tdlr website you can download the candidate information bulletin Class A Barber and it gives you the entire layout of the exam. I recommend doing this since they usually update this information. But I posted videos of each practical portion In the order you will have to perform of the exam so that should give you a good guideline.

What size are the bags that were used for the nail file, cuticle pusher, and the orange wood stick? Did you purchase these on Amazon?

Any size bag will work. You can purchase at your local grocery store or Walmart

Hi lici..i passed my written..now im on my way to the practical..on the practical do you need a new towel everytime you are going to desinfect a table or a chair? Or just with one is enough?..also thank you for the info on the written..just like you said to focus more on chemical services..

I’m moving from Alaska getting out of the army but they don’t require a practical test rn because covid…. Do I have to buy all these supplies and mannequins for the practical in Texas? I’m pretty nervous about being able to take the exam in Texas stressed out. Haven’t taken any exam yet so it will be my first one

No you should have one set up in your pre exam set up. It stays on your station

It’s best.. that way you don’t draw too much attention to yourself, but not mandatory

@@liciladybarber3645 I took the test this pass Friday and didn’t pass it! I blanked out on the shaving

@@rattata30 did you skip the entire shave part?? What you could do is go through the motions but carry on with your safety criteria that way you don’t loose out on too many points. Also after you demonstrate the shave hand strokes you continue with the 14 stokes and during your second pass over you can go any direction. This is not timed so that’s an advantage.
