This guy is a very good rider and horseman. He did a great job for a first time, and it was impressive to hear how well he understood the concepts. Also how well he was able to put her instructions into practice. True the stirrups should have been shorter, but no big deal. I would have loved for her to show him the difference between collected and extended trot. The first time I experienced that it felt like an locomotive taking off. The piaffe clip was great though.

Been riding my quarter horse gelding for a decade and I have noticed that if I wiggle my fingers he goes round real fast. I also noticed that he goes to trot from the inside leg... i'm the 3rd owner and don't know the original breeder/trainer... but i'm starting to think that he isn't a western horse after seeing this video😅 I will try some of these queues.... he might be an old dressage horse (he 22 years old now) and would explain why he doesn't understand neck rein 😅. I always told people he had different buttons lol
