I am disabled and live alone in the barn-studio. I make myself take weekends off from editing videos and try to relax. Jam on guitar and it is a pleasure to find vocals of one my my favorite singers. Thanks.

Glad to find some blues jam tracks with vocals. It helps me to feel like I'm with a band. How many bands play instrumentals all nite?

if u are tuned to Eb it is in G. play the minor pentatonic scale. if u disagree with this, play it how you like. after 20+ yrs exp. i'm gonna stick with my ear and play it in g. if you can make it sound good to you it is perfect. keep rocking. god bless you.

All SRV's are in E Flat Tuning. Other call it the Hendrix tuning. You know, that guy Jimi? Any way, if you are going to throw 13 gauge strings on your Guitfiddle, tuning down a half step will help with the bends. No, not from Scuba Diving.

You actually don't need to tune down to Eb for this one. With standard tuning you play in Gb blues scale. Simple as that. Some others mentioning Eb blues, that is simply Gb MAJOR pentatonic. Fits as well.

@KENSBLASTED if you have been playing for 20+ years you need to practice more. this is definately in Gb.

Thanks for the great upload.....if there is one instrument where the key doesn't matter it has to be the guitar:)
@Olivsam16 жыл бұрын
You do these out of E or Eb?

Sooooo much fun to jam too. Wish i could have at least seen SRV once in person, i was born into the wrong damn generation- sucks. Well the only thing to do now is to play my appreciation for Stevie with my guitar, and to always stride to get as close to his ability as i can. RIP SRV! Check out my attempt at this one on my channel, few other SRV influenced jams on there as well. Hope you enjoy.

He tunes down one half step all the time so unless you tune down you play in the Eb minor (or Gb major)

Guys it's not his grandmother lol all he did was isolate the guitar from the sing at the start you can still hear it a little.
