Was I worried about this class? A bit. Where others saw small numbers, I saw room for Sark's magic. Gone are the days where Mack would fill up a class early with 100% Texas HS recruits and there'd be no room for 5 star players still left on the board. Besides, there's no need to worry these days. Teams can always load up on the transfer portal. Players can do a year or 5 elsewhere and then come play for Sark and get their degree from UT-Austin. Trust in Sark.

You guys live so far in the future, I have trouble even keeping pace. You are talking about the Georgia matchup and we are facing the Wolverines this week early Saturday morning. Michigan is the reining national champion and surrendered 13 players to the NFL draft. They are talented, tough, and will be all over Quinn from the first snap. Our offensive line, while good, has a lot of experience to gain. I believe the Horns are playing the best team out there for their second game. Oh yeah, look what Georgia did to Clemson. Clemson has been on the decline for several years now and is a shadow of what it once was. However, Georgia is the second best team out there and we've got them coming to town next month. Vanderbilt is our cupcake matchup and they handled Virginia Tech. There will be no rest for the weary this season. On top of that, there will be a 12 team playoff.

In context, the video conversation is recruiting. And the UGA game is a huge weekend for recruits, if Texas wins that game they will round up their ‘25 recruiting class. The staff isn’t overlooking Michigan however Sark has to forecast the season and detail his pitch to the results of the game.
