Thanks for your comment! It's tough seeing the river in such a state now. Fingers crossed for some much-needed rain so the river can flow beautifully again. Blanco is such a charming town!

Blanco Settlement is an RV Park and all the little houses are rental cabins. The Blanco River runs right behind it & each cabin has a back porch to sit and view the river. And the white flower is a white prickly poppy. 😊

Interesting name! We have a town in the Dallas-Fort Worth area called White Settlement. I always found that name rather eyebrow raising!

Thankfully the Blanco River was named back in the 1700's when a Spanish expiditon noted the white limestone around the riverbed.
