Texas Instruments TI 36X Pro evaluating definite integral and derivatives

You don’t have to re-enter the equation. Just use the up arrow key to highlight your equation. Then press enter. Then you can adjust your equation for new variables.

Sharp and Casio allows it but TI did not. I will look at it again.

Equaser.com you may have to use the up arrow a couple of times but it does work. I also own a Casio 115es plus and the Casio ClassWiz . These calculators are a little more capable than the TI-36X Pro(especially the ClassWiz) but the TI for me at least has always been more intuitive and easier to use because of its menu driven layout.

​@@equaseryou've got this the wrong way round. The TI calcs can push anything from the stack into the prompt by scrolling up to it and then pressing enter. Casio does NOT do this.

You don't need to rewrite the entire equation, just go up to the history.

Can the TI36X solve an indefined integral?

I have a question. On my calculator, when I press 2nd and integral, it shows “fnInt(…” instead of the integral symbol. Anyone know anything about that?

You have set it to show line and not math style. I have explained getting started with this calculator and may have shown how to proceed with that. The thing you see is correct.

It takes the derivative an evaluates. It does and I have shown it.
