Texas: Isolated Storm Chances around the Ring of Fire Today

After a rowdy evening of storms in the Panhandle, we're keeping an eye on those same regions again today. We may also see a few storms nudge their way into the Ark-La-Tex and East Texas this morning and afternoon. We'll take any rain since it helps temporarily cool things off!
Most folks across Texas will not see any rain today or for the foreseeable future. Our summer-time weather pattern continues unabated into early July, with afternoon temperatures in the 90s and 100s. Overnight temperatures will fall into the 70s, with the urban jungles struggling to drop below 78-82 degrees.
No tropical mischief is expected to impact Texas over the next seven days.

Reminds me of home, which is Arizona. This is very monsoony weather that we get in the summer of Arizona, especially the not cooling down after sundown. Hope we get either some rain or relief here in DFW!

Good morning David we did get some strong winds last night. Iam grateful our trees didn't get blown down. Even though it felt like it. Those squirrels were hanging on for dear life 😂 . 90s is good for san Antonio. And some people don't know how to handle the fire works shouldn't . They will get hurt and maybe others with them.
