One thing I’ve seen from him is that he spreads the ball out so well. Everyone gets touches when he is in. Whittington for example is so underrated and unused and gets so many touches finally when Ewers plays. He just finds the open guys and makes sexy throws. I can’t get over how smooth and effortless his throws look. Coming from an Aggie that has been through so many painful seasons with no QBs to watch he has been such a treat and so fun to watch.

The Texas defense that played against Alabama actually showed up today. Sarkisian needs to get them dudes to play this way consistently throughout the season. They show up for high profile games on the schedule then get carved up by teams like Tech that have no business moving the ball against them.

The way Ewers releases and puts a spin on the ball. One of the quickest releases in college football today.

@@crimson8673 no way the Kstate loss hurt like this one. This is utter humiliation. All kinds of records and the realisation that the Sooners are going to be 💩for a very long time. None of that train wreck is an easy fix.
@crimson86732 жыл бұрын
@@Andy-White lol. Dude we lost to Texas in Dallas with are backup QB. Plus you add the 2 horribly embarrassing losses that completely took us out of not only the rankings but also out of title contention to. I’ll also include the 3-0 start with the falsely dominating performance OU showed on both sides of the ball that had everyone excited. The 49-0 victory is great for Texas. But let’s not act like that would’ve been the actual score had Gabriel played. All are soul was sucked out when K-State bullied us and there was no hope of it coming back after TCU decimated us. And I believe you on it being hard to fix Texas went through if for years. Only time will tell.
@Andy-White2 жыл бұрын
@@crimson8673 you’re right if you’d have had Gabriel you might have put up ten points. Let’s get real a first string QB isn’t stopping Texas rushing for 300 yards. Shall we pretend we didn’t notice how your offensive line crumbled on multiple occasions. Gabriel’s hardly superman and other than Mimms you’re lacking offensive weapons so it’s hardly like you would’ve lit it up. In not one single area of the field did I see OU match Texas in any way. It was a blowout of huge magnitude, Gabriel would’ve had little no impact on that final outcome. But I guess it helps if you have yourself an excuse why your team got humiliated.
@crimson86732 жыл бұрын
@@Andy-White lol. I never said we wouldn’t have been beaten down. With Gabriel I still had Texas winning 38-24 so let’s not go off topic here. This has nothing to do with humiliation. It’s Texas not taking OU’s soul.
