Yeah, it sucks. It’s part of living on the Gulf coast for my 53 years. Totally understand as I’m without power as well. My beef? Entergy has hooked up everyone around me, while Centerpoint leaves my block as is? There are no power lines down here in my direct area, so I don’t get it. I’m on the edge of Montgomery county/Harris County. I’ve lost all my food like so many others. I’ll say this-a home backup generator is in my future. No new vehicles, clothes, cell phones, or eating out until I get one. Way beyond tired of getting pumped by hurricanes.

People complaining about power, be grateful for you have. We’re lucky in Texas Beryl wasn’t Cat 5 anymore when it made landfall. Look at Saint Vincent and the Grenadines! A Cat 5 “Beryl” completely destroyed the whole island & people lost everything they had! Be patient and thankful God significantly weakened the Hurricane. Power will comeback, soon.
