Texas was destined. Least we ever forget, same season, VY converting on forth and eighteen with a little over 1min to play against Kansas.

That was 2004. The ‘05 team was up 42-0 at halftime on Kansas
@jasonrogers6454 Жыл бұрын
@@grahamfarris25252-0, actually, and just missed making it 56-0. Total domination. Just wish Texas had fed Mangino 80 points that game, but they very understandably dialed things down shortly after halftime.

I remember watching this game and going berzerk that first half" What The Hell Kind Of Football are they playing out there today??"But Vince Young came back and that lowered my blood pressure.

It didn't hurt that he had an NFL All-Pro o-line, secondary, d-line, and running back. That team was absolutely loaded with ballers. Aaron Ross: two superbowls with the Giants. Jamaal Charles: total Chiefs legend, holds NFL record for highest per-carry average for over 1,000 attempts in a season; 2013 rushing TD leader. VY: RoY and Pro-Bowler. Lombardi-winner Brian Orakpo. Super Bowl champ Tony Hills. Pro-Bowler Henry Melton. Super Bowl champ David Thomas. Selvin Young prolly would have had several 1000-yard NFL seasons too, but had his career cut short due to neck injury. And that's just the main guys. There are several others that played significant years in the NFL and/or were standout college players like Ramonce Taylor who went to indoor/arena/Canadian leagues.

I remember I was Austin Neural Rehab hospital in Austin, that I was like what's happening. I was so pissed off that I even turned off the Television set, The next morning, the sports section of the local newspaper stunned me, because I don't know how but somebody dripped some pinky dust on Vince Young

LordThalin and his coaches like Jeff fisher. still won rookie of the year and 2 pro bowls with a 30-17 record
@rebboy174 жыл бұрын
Yea Jeff fisher screwed Vince. Just like he was screwing the rams QB until mcvay got there. He always drafted defense and never gave Vince help. Also same BS he did with McNair.
