The system isn't broken; the companies decided to cash in on people who had no recourse, and they let the system sit idyl while they enjoed life. TIme for a change in Texas.

IT is essential that apartment complexes housing elderly, disabled, HUD, and critical care centers, and temporary designated shelters that could be opened for warming centers, and disaster shelters be mandated, I SAY AGAIN: MANDATED BY STATE LAW AND FEDERAL LAW WHERE IT APPLIES IN TEXAS - to install highly effective, full service backup power systems to protect life and to not pass that cost on through rental rate increases. In many cases it was the elderly and disabled that died in 2021. I was affected for 2 1/2 days without power during snow and ice and freezing conditions. I WAS ERKED TO FIND OUT THAT SOME OUT OF STATE RESIDENTS WERE OVERSEEING THE TEXAS GRID. But yet, like the texas house and us congress, nothing is fixed, but they sure can talk, and talk, and talk, and ta... THEY TALKED A GOOD SHOW WITH FIRM OF FACE PRACTICED STARES AND GLARES, AND SUGGESTED IMPENDING CHANGE COMING MOTIONS THROUGH HAND AND EYE MOVEMENTS, AND GOOD OLE RHETORIC, and nothing has changed except on paper. Where's the beef? Oops, sorry - WHERE IS THE DOCUMENTATION WITH EXPENSE REPORTS AND PHYSICAL IMPROVEMENTS THAT CAN BE CHECKED OFF THE "SECRET" LIST OF MUST DO, MUST DO, MUST DO CHANGES HIDDEN UNDER THE GUISE OF NATIONAL SECURITY? After all, using the "national security" excuse always locks down otherwise need to know for "fact checking purposes"! WHO THE HELL IS IN CHARGE OF ANY FOLLOW UP OF THESE SCABS BLEEDING FUNDING FOR PROFITS AND DELIVERING DEATH TO CITIZENS IN THEIR SEARCH FOR MORE MONEY FOR NOTHING? Name withheld for national security reasons.
