The “ noise “ with your landing gear is not metal on metal “. It’s just the hydraulic pressure being released from the cylinders going back through the system . Albeit not pleasant sounding, it’s normal. Awesome set up btw

Squirt pb blaster up in there on all sides once you put the gear down and it should get rid of the squeak it did on mine

Your turnbuckle mount on the back of the trailer are welded upside-down, door side is fine, trailer side is upside-down. They have that lip so when you flip them forward to dump the lip keeps them in place so the door doesn't smash them, after you dump.

I tried that at first but I couldn't swivel it with it that way so we flipped it around. But it swivels far enough in that it doesn't spin back when you dump it.

Probably have to order em with all the features you want it to have. Not the thing to do to ask a person what they paid for something but Texas Prides got a lot of standard pricing online. I know a 20 ft 26k is like 20 grand where I live. (Indiana)

Piss on a cdl why does the government think they need to interfere on something some of us have been doing all our lives all so they can make money I agree with having a cdl for a semi, dump truck etc but for a pickup with a trailer behind it is a little ridiculous how about instead of messing with us why don’t they crack down on the dumbasses that pull out in front of us pulling a load just for us to have to slam on breaks and go their desired speed or come around us when we are in the right lane to get over in front of us and stop to turn instead of waiting a few extra seconds 🤷‍♂️

Horrible designed trailer. Axles all the way back. Insane pin weight. That trailer will stress rhe fuck outta that truck. Go move the axles 3 ft forward thank me later !

Actually not at all. I thought the same until I started hauling with it. They are placed in the perfect place for hauling heavy loads and being able to lift it. If ilthe axles were placed further forward then the load would have to be placed further forward and that would make lifting and dumping difficult because of where the cylinders have to be mounted. I had a 12.5 ton loads yesterday and the entire truck weighed only 13,600 lbs. It's a 14,000 lbs rated truck. The front axle weighed 5,800 lbs and the rear axle weighed 7,800 lbs. Trailer axles were at 33,500 lbs so set up absolutely perfect.

I have owned this exact trailer 4 years and the axle placement is perfect, it's more stable it hauls better It's safer to dump for an uneven load And if you know trucks and trailers like I do, that's always the best set up even on gooseneck flatbeds, you notice the placement is near the rear..
