As I have said before - I listen into this every night from my west Ireland home , in avid anticipation - and find both the subject matter and particularly, the narrator’s voice, to be utterly mesmerising … Thank you so much. ,

Even though I concede that the invader peoples carry a certain degree of guilt, it is very easy to see how a man could become murderously hateful toward a group of people who inflict such evils on you. I find it very rich that modern people condemn their own ancestors without having the slightest clue what those people went through

nobody is doing it and f the Comanche. They were bullied to this land, so they were new there and just because you share a region does not give you ownership in raiding others.

Just had a thought...the soil of the Plains from Texas to North Dakota contains a lot of unmarked graves. Yes, that's very obvious but it never struck a spark in me until listening to this longer video. All the missing adults and children lost in rivers, tall grass or hurriedly buried to be forgotten. My great great grandparents from Norway homesteaded in Dakota Territory in 1870. The Indians were still a feared force but they only had one Indian scare when between 400 to 600 warriors showed up on a ridge to their west. Being only 10 miles into Dakota Terr (from the Iowa border) it was quiet but very spartan life. So spartan they didn't have stone to mark the graves. So I've got at least a dozen ancestors where I'm not sure where their graves are. At least I know the names, unlike the people in a small wagon train who were ambushed after crossing the Big Sioux River. Everyone was killed and what the Indians didn't take was burned. I knew the owner/farmer fairly well and he picked up at least 100 artifacts mostly steel parts of all types. Two items that intrigued me was a cheap caplock muzzleloading rifle and a brass powder flask half full of small shot (#4 to #6 size) The lever still worked and I'd pour out some shot now and then, and wonder what stories it could tell. Even local historians are not very familiar with the attack and the victims are totally anonymous.

@@cz75shadow2 Greetings back to you.! Those GG grandparents were from Lesja and the farmhouse is still in use. Some of my cousins have stayed there. I'd like to visit also but my #1 goal is Bornholm where my Danish roots go back centuries. They were "involved" with the Hammershus Fortress (Family name-Hammer) and lots of rough and rowdy activity. Very few in America can prove a direct connection to a early Meideval fortress/castle (A.D.1100) and the round fortress churches built in the 1000's. Oh, I love the CZ75 since it appeared in the US in 1984 or 85. Great design and feels great in the hand.

@@daneaxe6465 cool story i like to hear that i have family in Denmark and Sweden to for many hundred of years back but some moved to us in the poor times in Scandinavia ive heard we got family in san fran and in Seattle havent tryed to find em or something. The people who knew their names are dead for many years ago just remember the storys had been awsome to meet em one day👍🏼cool to hear that you found family so long in the history from Denmark but They have more things Written down then Norway it was destroyed in the 1500 Sadly but glad you gonna visit Denmark my favorite place in Scandinavia and the Castle are awesome but i recomend you to come visit Norway and Sweden to we way more know for our nature then Denmark but dont get me Wrong Denmark have a lot to offer and see on your journey. Yes i love the CZ 75 Shadow my favorite brand and the 75 the best handgun in my opinion i hate clocks they just boring they work and do their job in the range or if someone have a different split of a second you can trust em of course but i dont have Even the clock 17 or 19 on my top 20 handguns i want or have ownd we have so strange rules on firearms so i Envy us on guns because so many firearms i want to trye on the course and find the best ammo brand to em and finally own some but just a dream almost only tryed em when visit us or others country s but i love shooting at Target s and trye improve my shooting but so difficult in my place to sad it s like that when you have Even the money to buy some to my collection and to practice with i m sure if we had meet in Scandinavia or us we had talked about history and firearms for Hours ✌🏼💯Glad you answer me was a nice guest to me and i hope maybe we can talk more about this show i love and your journey after you visit or when you visit maybe. Im gonna visit us again of course but not right now.probely another two or tree years see first how the rules gonna be to visit at all next year. But have a amazing day and week and tanks a lot for you answer me back i felt honored i have some Americans freinds from las Vegas but im thinking of Try to find out more about my family in san fran and Seattle because some of my family back in those days was higher up in class but in Norway we are not like that anymore just Factory Workers or blue collar but i have Also some family from another part of family so many of my friends and uncles are from Cali in Colombia the only joke they use again t me are that i really bad at spanish 😂But i really want to visit my family in cali Colombia to so i believe im about 75% viking and 25% maya or something but never taken any test so could be wrong but not about the viking thing thats proven we always been living here From generation to generation that s facts i love history from the hole World and culture s but some things i styddy more than others eras so i believe we could talk for hours my friend ✌🏼💯Hit me back if you want and yeah i know the CZ 75 was made in the early 70s but not got to us before the 80s maybe even more early 90s never had any problems with any of the cz i own d so are a great gun perfect in my hands and groups in the target but i like many brand to but if had to only could own one firearm rest of some crazy end of the world or something 😎😂ive pick that all day but mostly had been CZ 75 Shadow 2 tactical but so hard for me to get sadly so just a dream i guess but no i rambling here 😎🤦🏻🤷🏻‍♂️🙄🇧🇻🇨🇴sorry but just hit me up if you want to speak history or something 🙏🏼👍🏼

Longest stretch without sleep is 4 days. I knew a guy who went 7 days mostly on his feet during the Battle of the Bulge. He said your brain shuts down and your subconscious puts one foot in front of another. If you didn't have training plus several months of combat he'd not have subconscious info in his brain to command his arms and legs. I felt like I was slipping into a "space" zone by day 4. Not a good time to do complex tasks unless its second nature. Did plenty of 24-30+ hour stretches. It really does effect you more as you get older. Lot of things best left for younger bodies.
