I can't really tell how much I love this car! I strongly believe it's the perfect example of giant luxury sedan which enables you to save money in the long run! And that's due to a very efficient hybrid system which is second to none! At the moment I own a BMW 3 series MY 19 but I sincerely hope to buy a hugely depreciated LS within 6 years! Here in Italy you don't get to see many of them! Also, I hope you're feeling good during these quite tiresome times!! Peace 😁😊

22.x mpg on pure highway doesn't sound very appealing to me at all as a hybrid. Regular S class would do better than that. Good to know its real world performance. Thanks.

The front plate ruins it. One should move to states that don’t require front plate when owns such car 🤟

i never know why all reviewers of Lexus always say there´s a oldschool cd player...sure it may be oldschool BUT it is a DVD changer ! I have this in my old Lexus and it ver very nice to look DVD´s at a rest with the family and enjoy the SUPERB surround sound 5.1 of the Mark Levinson because only on DVD you get proper 5.1 sounds . radio ? forget it ....mp3 ? forget it

Do you think that you could put a million miles plus on this powertrain with proper maintenance and care? For someone who’s a salesman or travels cross country on a regular basis averaging around 8,000 miles a month.

Good vid. The more I see this car, the more I'm more intrigued in the car - and 8m a muscle car person. If I had the money, id probably get this car in a dark grey or beige color with the executive package, the upgraded sound system - basically fully loaded

Is there such a thing as just a straight up luxury car anymore? As someone who had scoliosis surgery as a teenager, my back and neck are always bothering me and every luxury car I find brags about handling and speed, but you get into one and it feels like you're sitting on granite. It's so frustrating. Every luxury car is aimed at 16 year old boys or people who wish they were 16 year old boys. I miss the old Caddy's and Yorkers of the late 80s and early 90s. Those seats were incredible and the suspension was soft.

The car drives so much nicer when you take the runflat tires off. You can adjust the heads up Display by making it go up and down or side to side. I will say this the non-hybrid LS 500 does have the power.... 416 hp

@@RoadandTract Trade-off: power for efficiency, fewer trips to the pump. I could care less about zipping around corners and 0-60 time: I want instant acceleration (throttle hesitation with turbo) for quick moves to avoid traffic situation or freeway merge; and a firm grip on the road when cornering within the speed limit. I have a 2019 ES 300h, instant acceleration with electric motors, more than quick enough, great road grip. LS 500h my guilty pleasure should I hit the lotto. Toyota hybrid system proven and tested 23 yrs since 1997 with Prius. Works for me. IMHO.

Thanks for the nice review. How would you compare the suspension of this sedan to a land cruiser/LX570 suspension. Which rides more softly for long daily commute ? I guess the body on frame might be slightly stiff on smaller road imperfections. Would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks

Sorry but that's the messiest interior I've seen by far the drivers carpet and the drink in the cupholder ,moments to rectify , yet there's a expectation that things can only get better after one hour and forty eight minutes? I think not. A real shame as the model here is a nice spec with the desirable option package.

@@RoadandTract Oh bless I suppose when I watch the morning news tomorrow the presenter will have tomato sauce round his mouth and a bowl of cereal on his desk while doing current affairs ? I think not . To stand any chance of a good catchment audience including some with OCD ( note no discrimination) it might be an idea to spend two minutes cleaning in preparation for an audience whom you can then invite into your domain. I might use my car to take rubbish to the local garbage dump , I certainly wouldn’t ask permission to do a car review there even though this represents as you put it “ this is real life” No no no . It’s your personal life. As I said before well specified car in addition beautiful colour just possibly en route to a journey of squalor and ruin is a thought that comes to mind .

Great video, I like it how you took time filming for I feel I'm there with you learning the LS. I'm in the point of ordering an Executive (which is your demo). I'm gonna be the Driver and owner and at the same time Wifey at the passenger front, could you enlighten me that there are Shiatsu Massage on both front seats although I know that this is an Executive Package that focuses on the rear with ottoman. Could you confirm also if there are massage on all 4 main seats? Thank you.

Massage on all 4 seats. I believe they are all the same.

I was not impressed with the LS stereo. I'm blown away by the B&W in the Volvo S90. Find the 400hp Volvo S90 T8 - might need to order one. But audition the B&W in an R Design or Inscription trim. You can thank me later.
