I will first say that I am very satisfied with a steak from Texas Roadhouse. But if I want to treat myself to the special steak dinner, with a perfectly cooked, tender, and tasting steak, it’s Capital Grille for me. It’s worth the extra $$.

No sane person would compare these two restaurants, but an Artificial Intelligence program, instructed to write restaurant articles, could spit them out in minutes. However, the AI would have no idea of the absurdity of the restaurant comparison. That is what I believe is happening at Mashed. Mashed is making videos on the cheap, using AI, and it shows.

The chicken fried chicken at TX Roadhouse is the bomb!! It's so tender you can cut it with a fork. It's always the meal I get since the quality and flavor is addicting.

A horse is a horse😂 I went to Texas Roadhouse recently for my birthday and my dinner was absolutely delicious and tender 😋 4 people ate full platters ( including 1 child meal )plus an appetizer and seltzer water ( non drinkers) $155.00. with tip included. At Capital Grille 1 steak alone minus sides would be... you figure 🤑

Texas Roadhouse serves great food. The steaks are delicious and quite a value. Two of my non steak favorites are the smothered chicken and they make a mean bacon cheeseburger. The location I frequent is usually so busy you have to wait to get seated.

Texas Roadhouse on 69 north of FM 1960 has had tough as shoe leather steaks the last several times we went. We sent them back & the replacement steaks were no better. It’s been a few years since we went. We never returned.

I will always choose Texas Roadhouse, not only due to the lower prices, but the atmosphere. High end restaurants are overrated and overcharge for their food. Even on a date, I will choose Texas Roadhouse. I would rather have a relaxed date than a stuffy one. If, however, the woman on said date doesn't like my restaurant selection, then she can find someone else to fund her overpriced tastes. I want a real, down to earth woman in my life, not one who wants me to spend a mountain of money on her before I even really know her.

I always choose Outback for steak. Unlike every other mid-range steak place, Outback can get medium-well steak right every time. Everyone else cooks it too well or too rare. And their French Onion soup is the best French Onion soup I've ever tasted. Their bread however... sucks. They could take lessons from Texas Roadhouse's rolls.

If you got 500 to drop on two people and want to wow some pu$$y then sure hit up capitol but I've had both and work at a rd house in NY we are always way more busy that the more expensive places and we get our beef from the very same place we cut ours in house season smoke all that in house. So go ahead waste your money on raw tuna or caviar on whatever that shit was but these days spenind 150 for 3 people w huge top of the line steaks and gigantic margaritas that are always complimented always

Texas grown beef in a Texas steakhouse would dominate a DC restaurant! Save a ton of money, get amazing food and do the Texas Roadhouse! I hope they build a restaurant right in DC to smoke that elite Capital Grille restaurant!

This video... what a waste of my time. You might as well be comparing the Rock vs Steve Urkel in a wrestling match. You know who'll win - it's just common sense. As for Texas Roadhouse? I don't go there, because their sides are anything but "legendary" (their quotes, not mine). The veggie sides are boring and flavorless, like you would get in a hospital or a senior citizen center. Would it kill them to use some spices in their veggies? T.R. doesn't even have Italian dressing for their salads, and that's just wrong.
