I live in Hutto, TX. I could see the funnel cloud from my bedroom window because my daughter happened to call me to tell me that she was in it. She was having dinner at a restaurant in Round Rock and sitting next to the window in a booth. She looked up from her plate to see wind, sideways rain and debris hitting the window and saw the tornado. She got up and escorted her kids to the back of the restaurant away from the windows. Luckily her home nor that restaurant had any damage and nobody was killed in the area.

Well all I can say is that the people here don't want to be in a relationship with the storm. I'll have to start begging and 🥺 pleading with God as the tornado is approaching "Please don't take me lord" and definitely with some humility behind that and hope for the best... Been having dreams about them for years,either they are chasing me from a distance or they are starting on top of me and I can see into the core. That same kind of wind caught up to me when I was 13,we lived with my aunt at the time it happened, the house started shaking and all the windows broke out. We were all so scared,begging and pleading with God not to take us. It was something I'll never forget. That one that happened in elgin only happened about 8 miles from my house. I'm be like no Lord not again !!!

I had an experience as a child, two actually, with tornadoes, & I also have nightmares about them. I wonder if that’s why? Because we had such a terrifying experience with them at a young age. I hate those dreams. Just like you, it’s almost like I’m being chased by them. Sometimes it’s a whole group of them. And every time I look out the windows, there’s more of them. I’ve only had them right on top of me a couple of times in the dreams. Some of my least favorite dreams. Always wake up terrified & continue to be scared for a while after waking because it’s that horrific in the nightmare. They always seem to be somewhat sentient in my dreams too. Almost like they can read my thoughts and start coming straight for me the moment I notice them & get filled w terror. Ugh 😣. Hate hate HATE those dreams.

Unfortunately, that area doesn't have tornado sirens, which is weird to me! My daughter was in that tornado and they had no warning at all. She was eating dinner at a restaurant in Round Rock and looked out the window to see debris, wind and rain hitting the window. She said she didn't hear anything that sounded like a tornado coming towards them. I asked the mayor of Hutto on Facebook if they were going to install tornado sirens and he told me it was being "discussed". 🙄 We do have weather apps on our phones but I was alerted to the tornado in Hutto right when my daughter was calling to tell me about it passing her and headed towards me. I looked out my bedroom window and saw the funnel cloud.
