All of these guys together were awesome!! Miss Doug,Freddy and Oscar. May they rest in peace. My father loved this song as he was borned in San Luis ,Potosi. And most of all he adored and respected Flaco for the The great Accordionist he is and his humbleness. In my father's opinion,RIP,There was no other or better than Flaco. I loved my Dad.

Drove non-stop to Mexico city in 1962 and then the same two months later on the trip back to San Antonio. In those long stretches of road south of Eagle Pass, this type of song kept me awake. Love those Rancheras. The Tornados are lots of fun.

I love these guys. I saw them at The Belly Up Tavern in Solana Beach, California, just a few blocks from where I lived in 1989. I knew that I was seeing History in the making and fully appreciated the opportunity. I was blown away! Three legends on stage together.

Compare this to the Letterman appearance and you can see that this presenter gave them their due. While Letterman was dismissive, this guy actually seems genuinely interested. Good on him.

If you're missing Freddy Fender see my channel. I've known and worked with Freddy since the 1970's - no one can do him better! We were identical twins back then. My Wasted Days video has over 40,000 views and its just me alone with no band. There are also B4 the Next Teardrop, Secret Love, El Rancho Grande, etc. The Tornadoes were that much better with Freddy and his great stage presence and voice. Thanks for posting! Johnny Pal
