The other guitarist "Bradley Ernest Whitford" (born February 23, 1952) is an American musician who is best known for serving as the rhythm and co-lead guitarist for the hard rock band Aerosmith for which he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001. "Arlan Schierbaum" started dabbling with the keyboards at the tender age of three. His parents quickly signed him up for piano lessons the very next year, Arlan Scheierbaum, keyboardist for Joe Bonamassa. "Michael Rhodes" is an American bass player, known for his session work and touring in support of other artists, and his collaborations in bands and ensembles. "Anton Fig "laid down the big beats on Joe Bonamassa's Redemption album. Peace out.

Mate great reaction I love your analogies straight from the heart and the feels and I love that your getting your ear in to our Aussie scene it makes us swell with pride that the rest of the world is catching on to what we all grew up with here and reminisce. Now Deep Purple has a little bit of history with Australia, back in their prime they had a reputation as being the world’s loudest and thought they were going to put it over our Aussie guys when they toured Australia in the early 70s and headlined the Sunbury Festival which was the Oz version of Woodstock. Now the father of Aussie Rock Mr Billy Thorpe and his Aztecs band (Johnny O Keefe is the Grandfather) not to be out done in the loud department ran around the festival gathering as many amps as he could get his hands on to show these guys who they were messing with and by all accounts Deep Purple were upstaged that day. They also had a run in at one of these festivals with AC/DC which erupted in a brawl roadies and all. There’s KZbin footage of Jimmy Barnes trying his best to upstage them when they toured here in the early 2000’s which is funny but I tell you what though there’s little known footage on KZbin of Jon Lord RIP(the organists of Deep Purple) and his side band playing at The Basement here in Sydney and inviting Jimmy to sing Deep Purples ‘When a Blind Man Cries’ that makes my hairs stand up, the guys vocal range is ridiculous and I think he sings it better than Deep Purples Ian Gillian. It would be awesome to see your reaction to it here on your channel mate I haven’t seen anybody else do it you would be the first. Also could you react to Billy Thorpe and the Aztecs doing Mama live at GTK and you’ll see where the likes of AC/DC and Barnsey come from musically, Billy Thorpe is our most powerful voice I think, cheers.

Sooo good. With Christmas coming up I hope you can do his performance of Never Walk Alone with his eldest son David Campbell at Carols by Candlelight. Carols by Candlelight is an Australian Christmas Eve tradition where people gather outside with candles to listen and sing along with Christmas carols. They’re conducted all over the country but the most famous ones are held in Melbourne. ❤️

When great musicians get together and cut loose magic happens . Joe B is phenomenal and Jimmy Barnes is a force unto himself . Check out Mahalia Barnes and Joe B performing RIDING WITH THE KINGS in a studio setting not unlike this one you will be amazed . A guitarist you should look into is an Australian teenager Taj Farrant who at the tender age of 9 was featured on the Ellen DeGeneres show and later played on stage with Carlos Santana he's a veteran performer now at the ripe old age of 12 and I've never heard anyone play the blues like he does . A great American young player is Samuel Cristea lead guitarist of the sibling band Liliac from the state of Georgia who was at 18 as good as any of the headline players of metal and hard rock check them out you have everything to gain

Everyone seems to think that because Australia is this little blip at the bottom of the world on a map and maybe we are but the 1 thing I do know is we have the best music in the world. No matter the genre and I don’t know whether it’s our Aussie thing of we will show them just how great we are and our music is more than great and it gives me as a longtime music lover, who if you come to my house you would probably hear music. I don’t watch a lot of TV but I do listen to a lot of music and I defy anyone to say we don’t know what we are doing, because they’d be wrong and thanks to the internet we can indulge our Passion for music even more. So thank you for listening and sharing our music. 🇦🇺😘

A lot of the Hammon B-3 organ and the Fender Rhodes Electric Piano. No better sounds than the Hammond B-3 and the Fender Rhodes. I've been touring since the mid 70's. Our keyboard player just loves the sound. He still plays them. This is how much I love them I'm a drummer and own one of each!

You'll be pleased to know that Jimmy is on the mend after undergoing open heart surgery in Sydney to replace an aortic valve that was damaged by a bacterial infection. His wife Jane has reported that he's recovering well and expects to be discharged from hospital this coming Friday and will be home for Christmas. He's now 67 which is sort of retiring age in Australia but I don't think he'll be slowing down any time soon once he's fully recovered.

I assure you Texas Love, Jimmy live is nothing short of extraordinary, even in his 60s. He never gives a half-arse show and knows only one speed - full on. Being Australian and having grown up in late 70s and 80s, I've seen Chisel prob a dozen times, Jimmy 20plus, Mossy 5 or so, ACDC up to 10 times in Sydney pubs and arenas, Angels several times, Rose Tattoo twice and other Aussie rock artists dozens of occasions. Aussie pub-rock is unique and all these artists learnt how to play their rock/blues hard. If you grew up playing in a pub, you had to be good or you got pelted with bottles. 'Step up of fck off' was the standard to be met.

Good cover. The original has the long intro also. Joe was emulating the techniques of the Richie Blackmore, the guitarist of Deep Purple, because he can. And he respects Blackmore. But he lets it go at times. Doing his own style. You'll understand if you hear the original. Bradley Whitford is so unappreciated, having played along side Joe Perry. That guy can blaze.

Was Deep Purple any good?! Ummmm . . . . yeah. Richie Blackmore, Ian Paice, Ian Gillan, Roger Glover and the incredible Jon Lord on the keyboards. Earlier in the video you noticed how hard the guys appeared to be working - the tune they were playing / emulating was originally laid down by the aforementioned DP and those guys were seriously good. You need to learn more about DP - there is WAY more than the classic "Smoke on the Water".
