I always eat the eggs from crappie, sunfish, and bluegill. I cook them up with fish using the same coating. They usually taste like hush puppies to me. Our DNR only list gar as a fish you should not eat the eggs from. Enjoy all your videos.

Bruh, as a little kid,...my grandmother didn't waste much from a fish,...we considered Fins and Tails as 'Fish Chips',...and she also cooked the fish "Row",...mainly from 'Mullet' fish. Good morning I have tried all kinds of fish eggs because I am daring, so I have learned with fish eggs you scramble them with a regular chicken egg and it just changes your regular egg flavor to a light fish taste which is very good with grits. I was a cook for 20 plus yrs in the military and a certified chef for 18 yrs and trying something different is challenging and sometimes fun. I’ve been watch your video for about a year and that was super fun to me. Your fish presentation is off the chain and hooked up.

I really enjoy your videos. This one is hilarious. A suggestion would be to take the eggs when they were mature before harvesting them. Much larger eggs in the egg sac. The ones you took were far from being mature so they did not give you a fair trial. When they are mature, mix them with light and fluffy scrambled eggs. I honestly believe you would really enjoy them then. LOVE your channel. I’m a white gramma, 75, who has fished all my life. I have 3 grandchildren, boy almost 16, boy 13 and a girl 11. Subscribed . . . because I love your videos. Here is a hint on how my Japanese wife and I here in Japan prepare our (fish egg roe) . . . We bake it in our oven. No popping while they bake. Can also cover them with some aluminum foil as they bake to be absolutely sure they stay intact. You guys cracked me up at minute 29:35 with your reaction to the finished fish roe. My hat is off to you both for your bravery. Pretty sure you both would fall on to the floor if you saw how fast my Japanese wife could gobble down a plate full of those prepared fish roe.
