The sea lice are harmless to the meat, just a wintertime indication that they’re hugging the bottom in cold water. Great that you fished with Marvin. I want to do that too.

Huh. The sea live on striper in Virginia means they migrated into the Chesapeake bay in the last week or so, as the sea lice can only survive 7-9 days in water that is not 100% saltwater. Never heard the bottom thing before

Just remember when you find the specks and it’s cold weather they’ll be stacked up on the bottom bounce lure off the ground for reaction strikes

Any recommendations on a length for wade fishing? I am torn between getting a 7 ft or 7’6.. I like the added length for distance casting when wading but the additional length makes working artificials a little more difficult / fatiguing.. what do you think? Thanks
