If the person still was after them I’d fully expect my wife to empty a clip in that MF’r. Hell I’m 6’3 and just shy of 300 and I’d be afraid. You just don’t follow people around at night with a gun. If some guy jumps on me from behind that tells me he isn't interested in a "fair" fight. Plus, once I'm down and yelling for help and he still is beating me in the face that might make me think "this guy is trying to kill me." If that thought crosses my mind I'm going to do everything in my power to not die. So..if I had a gun on me I would use it just as pretty much everyone else probably would. Martin broke Zimmerman's nose. That's attempted murder. This case had nothing to do with race. It's purely self-defense. Guy defends himself against a black guy and it's racist meanwhile 3 blacks dudes break into a white woman's house rape her multiple times and set her on fire and that was classified as a random act of violence. Makes sense huh?

Nicholas Powell hey dumbass you don't get to start a fight with someone and then when they start kicking your ass kill them and claim self-defense. Zimmerman was the one who against orders got out of his car, pursued a young teenager in the middle of the night and provoked a fight, all because a kid was taking a shortcut home. I know what I'm talking about, I live in Florida and I watched the whole trial, I think the prosecutors went for the wrong charge but Zimmerman is guilty one hundred percent. not even saying he's racist saying he's a little Meek week motherfucker who thought he was going to be a badass provoked fight with a kid who showed him up and so his ego is hurt and the Cowardly way out was to shoot. I'm not saying that he should have went down for capital murder but it should have been a negligent homicide. I'm sorry but you can't call it defending yourself when you're the one who caused the entire situation, he started a conflict and then when his delusions of being some hero failed he shoot the person and claim self-defense sorry that's not self-defense, that's a bitch.
@richierich3979
@richierich3979 7 жыл бұрын
Nicholas Powell Zimmerman stalk the kid and provoked the fight just so he could have a reason to kill him. The cop told him not to follow him and he still did. The stand your grown law states that if you had a chance to get away from the confrontation but you didn't then you are wrong. He had his chance to walk away(which was what travon was doing) but he still followed the kid and got into a fight. He did not stood his ground, he basically hunted and kill this kid and got away with it. But that evil demon is going to pay some way some how.

From a fan in Monticello, just south of New Hebron, I agree with your assessment of the outcome of this incident. With the same reasoning, M. Brown would have access to everything in that patrol car if he had not been stopped. Law officers not only have an obligation to protect their own life but they have a responsibility to protect the public from what might happen if angry, untrained people are able to take control of the tools of that officer's trade.

Anyone that can just punch someone in the face with out any reason is capable of murder and there are people who have been killed by thugs like this low life and most of the time it's unsuspecting or hit from behind .

A few points if I may: I. I don't understand why our society puts so much emphasis on the opinions of actors, musicians, and entertainers II: I carry a weapon. I also have a layered threat response. The first layer is situation awareness and avoidance. The second layer is non lethal o/c spray. Lethal force is the final layer. III. Just because you CAN stand your ground does not mean you SHOULD . Avoidance is the default response at any time.Break contact if at all possible to avoid escalation. IV. Neighborhood WATCH programs are just that, not armed patrols. I do no believe this was racially motivated at all. I think we had a dim wit wanna be hero, that probably could not pass the psychological exam to become a cop, in an altercation w/ a young , hot blooded man. Both idiots had something to prove, unfortunately,one idiot had a gun. MiF

Zimmerman is a world class idiot for sure, but his actions on that night were within the law. The law and individual rights has to apply to everyone like that. George Zimmerman was instructed by the Authorities NOT TO APPROACH the subject. His life wouldn't have been threatened if he had followed the instructions given. You people want to say Martin was potentially defying or ignoring the Authorities when in Fact ZIMMERMAN was outright Instructed by Authorities NOT TO APPROACH. We'll handle it. We are trained officers. George is not a Trained officer. His gun is to protect himself if someone Approaches him. He's not a cop. He has no business approaching people for detainment. Can he ask? YES . If they choose not to stop? His job is to get an ACCURATE as possible Description of potential suspect. Anything else is just an idiot with a gun looking to prove himself. Which is evident by his later indiscretions. Aggregated assault in Florida. Threathened wife and Father-in-Law with a gun. DOMESTIC Battery and his BabyMama to be. July 2005 Resisting arrest with violence. August 2005 Restraining order is put in place against Zimmerman by former fiancée. Again 2013 police were called to his house to help his then wife who felt threathened. The list goes on. HE WAS AN IDIOT WITH A GUN.....He killed Martin and Florida let him go free.
@TheFoundersWereRight
@TheFoundersWereRight 10 жыл бұрын
Well. What we appear to have here is an idiot with a keyboard, looking to prove himself. How do we know that? Because we have an idiot by the name of Doughboy N-hood who apparently doesn't know how to read or even hit the "Play" button to listen to a tape recording. The Dispatch officer that took Zimmermans call did not order, but suggested that they did not need him to try and find Martin himself (After martin had made it to a hiding spot.) We then hear Zimmerman acknowledge and obey the request, on tape. He then goes into how he is heading back to his vehicle, but he stops and decides to wait right in that spot for the inbound officer. Again, this is all recorded by the 911 call system. Your claim is that he completely ignored the dispatch officer. Sadly, that claim has been proven time and time again to be a bogus lie used by only the dumbest and most easily fooled morons who just snap up whatever talking points they are given by their political masters. You also seem to be angry that Zimmerman was not a police officer, and that his gun is "only to protect himself if someone Approaches him." Another case of opening thy mouth before thou thinkest? We know based on the location of the fight/attack that Martin would have had to leave his hiding spot to approach and attack Zimmerman. We know that Zimmermans gun stayed concealed and secured prior to the attack even as Martin was approaching, indicating that Zimmerman was not expecting Violence. That in itself is evidence against a claim that Zimmerman was out gunning for somebody, or the idea that he was the one who instigated the violence. But Wait, There's more!! You obviously are also not very familiar with legal statutes(Laws) and how they are written. You also apparently chose not read the laws that apply to this case because here is another point where you shoot your mouth off and prove how little you know. "He's not a cop. He has no business approaching people for detainment." Under Florida's Common law, and not to mention almost every other state in the Union, Citizens have the right to approach and detain an individual upon witnessing a crime or having a reasonable suspicion that that individual has committed a crime. This is commonly called "Citizen's Arrest". It may not be standard, but it is legal and a protected right. Now I know it can be hard for you to read with your head shoved so far up your backside, but if you need lessons or help reading Florida's book of Statutes, Constitution, and Laws of Florida then I am sure there are plenty of people who will gladly read the pertinent sections to you, and even possibly say it in slow motion so you can understand it. No whether you like it or not, Zimmerman obeyed the laws that night, he did not break any laws. Martin, whether you like it or not, did break some laws, and when he chose to violently and relentlessly attack an individual he was responsible for the danger that he put himself in resulting in the loss of his life. BOTH ACTED STUPIDLY... The only difference is that Zimmerman still obeyed the law, where Trayvon did not. That is what made Zimmerman's actions self defense. Now let me give you something to think about. I notice you put up the resisting arrest "With violence". Again, maybe this is just your own ineptitude, but why did you not expound on the details a little more? Could it be that that particular case, involving an undercover cop who was making arrests in a bar (He was stated as an alcohol enforcement officer) Which sounds weird enough, is the situation in question? Was that the case where Zimmerman was standing up for a friend of his that officer was going after? And wouldn't it be worth mentioning that even in that kind of situation, if you put your hand on a cops shoulder because they are trying to get in your face they can write you up for "Battery" of a police officer? Apparently the courts also thought that the situation was a little sketchy because they dropped the violence charge. Of course there has never ever been an over zealous, bureaucrat cop that abuses his authority. Mmm mmm, nooo... So why not elaborate and tell the whole story? Probably because certain facts and evidence don't fit with the narrative you want to tell, so you ignore them. So what we have is an Idiot with a keyboard making stupid comments on youtube. And the rest of us point out and laugh at your stupidity.

Doughboy N-Hood Nothing "tough" about it. Stupid is as stupid does, and you stupidly repeated a political talking point that was disproved the day they released the 911 recording. WARNING~ If you are going to show a complete lack of IQ and Brain Cells, then claiming the opposite of easily verified factual evidence is a quick way to do it. Now had you taken the time to listen to that 911 recording, then you would have known that Zimmerman obeyed the dispatch officer's request. Instead however you wanted to show everyone how intelligent you were without knowing what you were talking about first. So yes, I know you well enough to call you an idiot with a keyboard based solely on your actions. I did not say you were an idiot when it came to automobiles, or how to do a tango. No, you are an idiot when it comes to talking about legal cases you know very little about. If you have a problem with being ridiculed publically however, here is a tip. Before you open your mouth and remove all doubt about the question of your stupidity, learn what you are going to talk about, what evidence there is against your position and not just for it, and finally don't be willing to lie just because you disagree with what the situation is based on evidence. If you are just another stupid political hack with an agenda to advance, don't show off your stupidity using three year old disproven pre-written talking points. Second, Why on earth would you be dumb enough to try and quote something when their is irrefutable audio evidence showing you are not giving the quote. Here is a hint, go listen to the full 911 call and you will not hear them say the words you just said they did. And finally, If this is just a simple mistake on your part, ok. I understand. If it is not however, you may not want to reply, because I can and will completely destroy your argument using Factual Evidence and the law. @@timhaskins4737 exactly. Just because we have the right to defend ourselves up to using lethal force doesn't mean we should engage in acts that might force us to use deadly force. Regardless of who was wrong. This incident was avoidable. You don't knowingly insert yourself into situations that could become violent. I carry firearms with me where I go. When I'm driving inhabe one with me, do you think I'm going to engage in a road rage incident because I have a gun? No, because I have a gun I will do what I can to avoid engaging in it. Someone flips me off, I let it go, because if I engage that person and flip them off that could turn a confrontation 8nto a violent one. So I do not engage in road rage, even if im on the right. Part of being a responsible gun owner is to avoid ever having to use it unless there is no option amd I have no choice but to use it to save my life, my family's life, or the life of someone else who is in danger of being killed. In this case, Zimmerman should have stood down instead of playing vigilante. He could have kept his distance and stayed on the phone with the police amd kept his distance so that the police could find the young man and do their job. The dispatcher told him not to pursue, but he took it upon himself to do so. I get it, there was a crime spree going on amd you wanted to protect your neighborhood, but its called neighborhood watch, not neighborhood vigilante or neighborhood persue.

Lindsay Zapolski Ok, so was Martin wrong when He approached Zimmerman and then attacked him after Zimmerman had stopped and was staying in place waiting for an inbound law enforcement officer to arrive? Had Martin not illegally attacked an individual, or had he not continued and escalated his attack after it was clear the threat was over, it would never have forced Zimmerman into the position where he thought his life was in danger and thus requiring the drawing of his firearm. The problem with your statement is that what Zimmerman did was legal. I can explain why using legal definitions and quoting the laws in florida, as well as federal statutes too. I am more than willing to keep this conversation civilized, but your premise is completely wrong because of what the law says.

According to the girl on the phone with Martin, it was the other way around - Martin approached Zimmerman. He even told the girl he was going to (premeditation). Still more facts. Finally, Zimmerman’s problems with his wife has nothing to do with this incident - just as Martin’s other incidents of violence (fighting at school, etc) were not part of the trial. Facts as well.

He wasn't standing his ground.. he chased/pursued him even after cops told him not to. End of story. ANY reasonable gun owner/carrier completely understands this difference and knows Zimmerman was completely in the wrong. Good Day.

Then you obviously have no idea what happened that day.. @ 7:11:59 PM during the police call he is clearly told by police on the phone NOT to go after Trayvon (who was breaking no laws btw) after following him @ walking speed in his car for 2 minutes. Furthermore.. He broke EVERY CCW law by CHASING an individual HE THOUGHT to be dangerous. The fact that George Zimmerman is not rotting in prison right now is a complete injustice and all law abiding CCW holders know this. Actually.. anyone with half a brain knows this...

Mug I guess you're not going to let real facts or testimony sway your biased and incorrect ranting.. Unlike you, I actually watched the trial on You Tube as they became available daily as the trial proceeded and I read many of the transcripts. The trial proceedings are readily available and the transcripts are right there on that little thing called the internet, if you don't believe me. 1. He was not talking to a cop on the phone. It was a non-emergency dispatcher who has absolutely NO legal authority to "tell" anyone to do anything. The dispatcher confirmed this at the trial. 2.The recording of the call confirm that the non-LEO dispatcher asked Zimmerman "which way is he going?" to which Zimmerman way attempted to find. And then told Z, "You don.t need to do that", to which Z said "OK" and turned back toward his truck. Which is when the felony assault by Martin took place. 3. Zimmerman "obeyed" everything he was asked to do by the dispatcher and broke no laws that night as the 6 jurors who sat through all of the testimony decided. 4. Martin is the one who committed a felony by attacking and attempting to kill Zimmerman. Thankfully he is rotting in hell right now instead of prison, which is where he would be if he had succeeded. I'm simply amazed that some of those on the left keep repeating the lies that were clearly destroyed by physical facts at the trial, like the actual and entire recording, instead relying on bigotry and hate and belief in the biased media coverage which lost all credibility with their doctoring of the phone call. Anyone with half a brain who watched the trial or read the transcripts knows the facts and don't repeat lies and propoganda because we have the truth and the law on our side.

hoss Heimer 1. He was told by dispatch that KNOWS the law to not chase after Trayvon... Furthermore it does not matter if he was talking to a Best Buy customer service rep.. he broke the law when he chased a man while carrying a gun (a man that was breaking no laws btw) and all CCW permit holders (LIKE MYSELF and "Z") know that is against the law.. 2. Zimmerman was told @ 7:11:59 to stop chasing Trayvon.. And you said.. "Which is when the felony assault by Martin took place." False..Shot was reported @ 7:16:55.. and the scuffle was brief as to eye witness accounts. Also.. Zimmerman states that after losing sight of him and being told NOT to follow him by dispatch that he walked (pursued) 2 more sreets to see if he could "find an address".. bullshit*cough..... You sure you watched the trial?.. 3. Zimmerman obeyed nothing.. he broke every CCW law in this country and illegally pursued an individual breaking no laws and only did so BECAUSE he was CCW... 4. Trayvon committed no felony.. he was followed by a car @ walking speed for 2 minutes.. when fight or flight kicked in he (Trayvon) ran.. When further pursued by "Z" he defended himself and the man getting his ass kicked shot and killed him like a coward. I am simply amazed that you believe these are sentiments coming form someone on the "far left".. I couldn't be more conservative.. It is people like you that give us god loving law abiding Conservatives a bad name.. In closing.. judging by your reply.. you saw and heard exactly what you wanted to see and hear while watching the trial on youtube.. You are simply another example of an American that lacks the ability to CRITICALLY THINK...

There's obviously no point in trying to converse with a bigot who refuses to acknowledge the facts. Every lie you have told has been debunked by myself and others on this thread. I'm a lifetime CCW holder, and there are no such restrictions or "laws" in FL or any other state in the nation. Have a bad day

Trayvon Martin was not an innocent teenage minding his own business. He jumped on top of Zimmerman and started bouncing his skull off the sidewalk. I would've killed Trayvon, too. Does any one know why Trayvon jumped Zimmerman and bounced his skull off the sidewalk? Martin had assumed Zimmerman was gay and confronted him. Zimmerman isn't/was 't gay but the gay community set quiet. Also, the mayor and chief of police tried to cover up the extent of Zimmerman's injuries. Why would they do this? What were they trying to hide? We didn't hear about Zimmerman's head being bounced off the sidewalk until the trial. The moment I heard that, Zimmerman was justified in killing Martin. Until it s your skull and your brain you don't know how you would handle a similar situation. Oh...you cannot always tell by looking externally to determine if someone has sustained a head injury. Head injuries are tricky and do not always manifest themselves with external evidence. The brain can bounce around inside the skull and externally no visible injury can be seen.

Mr. Clint Thomas-Facts of the Case/Trial shows that every opinion that you have posted about Trayvon Martin is simply not true! Trayvon Martin might not have been an angel by any stretch of the imagination; But, at the time of the night in question he was minding his own business, after legally purchasing the Arizona Iced Tea/bag of Skittles until confronted by Zimmerwho of whom was brandishing a gun. Martin had no weapon at the time that Zimmerwho stalked & attacked him; So, Martin defended his life-over-limb, but subsequently failed after being shot to death. Mr. Thomas-would you have expected that your son -or- daughter defend themselves if confronted by a rogue racist, and not able to run away without being shot? Now, before asking the previous read the question over-and-over again then answer to yourself; Also, since you want to assume without solid research that one person -or- the other assumed that Zimmerman is "gay," any intelligent human being would know that your statement is absurd, and that Zimmerwho lunged at Martin whereas Martin did what his instinct dictated by combating w/ Zimmerwho; Or, your conclusions are very reasonable and insightful compared to the actual facts of the incident, case, and final verdict. Be sure & read "YOUR" KZbin comments/posted again-and-again-and-again; Then, think very hard & long about how Trayvon Martin might have felt walking alone in the dark on the way back to his Father's house.

George X the facts of the case/trial shows that every opinion I have posted on Trayvon Martin is accurate. Trayvon was not minding his own business. The tea and skittles were purchased legally I agree with that. I have never said or implied otherwise. ZImmerman didn't brandish a weapon. If it was perfectly legal for Trayvon to be out walking around than it was perfectly legal for Zimmerman to be out too. Zimmerman did not stalk anyone that is not a fact that is your opinion. Trayvon was the aggressor, he attacked Zimmerman. Zimmerman was not a rogue racist. Zimmerman did not lunge at anyone. He followed Trayvon but the fight was started by Martin. You do not know the facts of the incident or case and final verdict. Because if you did it was Martin's friend -- little ms big fat dumb ass -- said under oath that Martin told her he was being followed and was going to 'whoop that ass' because Martin thought Zimmerman (the only Bi Racial man in the history of bi racial people to be identified as white) was gay and wanted to hook up with him. Little ms big fat dumb ass was either lying under oath about the phone conversation she had with Martin or it happened the way she said it did. Since the prosecution did not go after her for lying under oath then she must have been telling the truth. Let me say this more clearly in case your stupid -- TRAYVON'S FRIEND TESTIFIED UNDER OATH THAT MARTIN CONFRONTED AND ATTACK ZIMMERMAN HE WAS GOING TO 'WHOOP THAT ASS' BECAUSE HE THOUGHT ZIMMERMAN WAS GAY was little ms big fat dumb ass lying under oath?????

Zimmerman confronted Martin with a gun. Martin was startled and from that point on was in a fight for his life. and since Zimmerman is a huge pussy... he was getting his pussy ass skull bashed in... but it all goes back to the fact that Zimmerman escalated the situation.

I don't agree with Theodore on this one. The wheels fell off long before the two physically engaged each other. On paper the law is not defective. In action the law's defect is exposed. A policeman is trained to handle these matters. Martin had no such training. You had an untrained citizen acting "en persona policeman." taking a matter for the law into his own hands. That is a defective law.
