I bought one. The only things I really miss are LED headlights and the telescoping steering wheel. Do I wish it had some contrast on the interior bits, yes. I think the truck has a ton of other great features though. My Trail Boss MSRP was $43,825 so it was loaded. MT tires, HO calibration, technology pkg, bedliner, etc. I pretty much checked every box. For that price, I couldn't even buy a 2WD Silverado crew cab Custom. I think it's a great truck for the money and it looks awesome.

It's crazy that 40k is considered cheap these days but here we are...I feel like the Colorado Trail Boss is one of the best bangs for your buck these days if you a) want a midsize truck thst can work like a truck (great payload and towing for a midsize) and b) still has some decent offroad capabilities. I ended up buying the GMC version of this truck (AT4) because it's what was available in my area and it's been great. Upgrade the tires and it's good to go.

It is crazy that 40k is a reasonable price, but you’re right, it is. The trail boss was very capable right out of the box. Enjoy that canyon!

Yeah it's really crazy to think how much trucks have gone up in 3 model years. I had a 2021 Silverado Custom Trail Boss with the 6.2L V8 and the MSRP was $49k. The 6.2L is no longer available in the Custom Trail Boss but if it were, that truck would MSRP for almost $59k for 2023. Nuts.

It just depends on what you looking for. I bought a 2019 Silverado Custom Trail Boss new. 4 yrs later and I still love it. I don't care about the bells and whistles... or luxury features. It looks good, drives good and performs good....and don't break the bank. Is see the Colorado Trail Boss as the same type truck, just in a smaller pkg.

My Colorado Trail Boss makes me love it more everyday. I was originally worried about cheap look on grill, but remembered my jeep had cheap plastic fenders, but they were great for offroad and never showed scratches from brush and grass.... The Trail Boss is awesome were it needs to be 😉

The trail boss is a work truck with an offroad package. Its meant to be cleaned up easily, scratch the hell out of it and not worry about the paint.

The interior is probably the number one complaint, but I came from a 3rd gen tacoma - so the interior in my Trail Boss is basically luxurious to me.

Won't tune them yet to HO unless ordered from factory. If you order the work truck with the plus engine you can upgrade to HO when available.

I bought a 2024 two months ago. Love the truck. I do agree with the 'cheapness' of the interior, but I'm a simple kinda guy! I also hate the owner's manual. It is worthless!!!!!!!!! It doesn't give me the info I want to know about my truck!!!!! Fuel capacity,,,,light bulb options...etc!!!! I also don't like the fact that the entire trim package is blacked out but the COLORADO badges are black. I changed mine to back and I also added the black CHEVROLET letters to the tailgate! My truck is Radiant Red and those black letters stand out and look awesome!!!!! Game changer in the aesthetics area!!!! Also tinted the front door windows this week as well as added a 'brow' on the windshield. Kept it legal by my states's laws. Looks awesome!!!! Nerf bars, bed liner, and tonneau cover to come!!!!

A few years ago, I bought a loaded Z71 Colorado. Had several electrical/electronics problems (some to the extent that I had to have it towed to the dealer more than once). A few friends also had Colorados and had similar problems. The new one looks great, but I hope my (and my friend's' issues with our vehicles) are isolated, but since the new ones depend so much on electronics (even the headlights don't have a switch), it kinda concerns me.

Just bought one! I have had the same issue with that squeaky noise that I THOUGHT was coming from the rear seat but it was actually coming from the front windshield! It’s that auto stop/ lane assist sensor underneath the rear view mirror. If anyone figures out a solution let me know! Great video guys!

I like this truck. But it really needs an Z71 Trailboss version. Like the 1500 has the custom Trailboss and LT. Ive got an LT Trailboss, LED head/fog lamps, heated seats and steering wheel. Ive got 80k on my Trailboss, if i ever downsize I'll need to get the Canyon AT4 instead. I want a little bit of luxuries.

My New Colorado TB came with 20s I don’t like 20s I bought some new off the truck 2023 black ZR2 Silverado 18inch wheels , they look bigger than those 18s on that blue truck I don’t know how much bigger!

I like the truck a lot. Don’t mind the interior cheapness. But would have liked light colored interior/seat options. Also not a fan of their woman lipgloss pearly color options. Give me solid bright 60s colors. I’d probably go white or yellow with the current colors.

Who does 0-60 tests in a pickup truck? If I want 0-60 ill hop in my 2024 C8 Z07. If I want to tow it to racetracks on a trailer ill hop in my 2024 Colorado.

Telescoping steering wheel is a creature comfort. If that deters you. You don't want a truck. You want a status symbol or something to feel validated. Go get a soccer mom suv where you can feel 'plush'.

I like the looks of the truck. But why put that 8-speed transmission with Federal class action lawsuit against it in the new Colorado? GM just does cheap. Sorry I stay away big time unless you want a transmission that will shake and jerk and have hard time downshifting.

It's not the same 8 speed. The one in the lawsuit has been revamped per chevy. No issues when it had been tested.... by many.

The 2023 has a new 8l80 trans, not a 8l45 that was in the 17-22 models.
