The overtone is amazing. I came here because I heard Julian Lage uses this!

I once owned a 1972xFendervTelecaster with greatcsustain. The secret was, it had a brass nut, not a plastic one, and it was a black guard job, blondewood, with a maple neck.

I had a 53 Tele in 5he 80s and ended up swapping it for a LP TV junior..both got sold because I fell in love with hollow bodied F -hole Spanish Electrics. Still got an Esquire though cos it sounded a bit fatter.

I was lucky enough to try one and make a little video. The tone and feel we’re amazing and it was a really inspiring guitar to play.

It is an approximation of the solo from The Wind Cries Mary. The original is in F. Here, it is in E.

How does he get away with using the Fender trademarked headstocks? Is Fender not policing their trademarks? If Fender doesn't do something, they are declaring that the headstocks are generic! Keep using them then!
@BluesDeville Жыл бұрын
He may have them licensed, or may be having a licensed manufacturer make them. But, no... Fender doesn't really police their trademarks. Look how many tele and strat copy bodies/necks are out there on the market.

I'm puzzled by the desire for a distressed, worn-out guitar. I like new and shiny. Different strokes for different folks, I guess.
@Nightshade18812 жыл бұрын
🤣dude you know the desire and appeal You just think it’s edgy and cool to act like you don’t. Fender has been doing this in the custom shop for years now Nothing new. Some people can’t afford a legit vintage 50s strat or tele The worn in feel is what people desire But dudes like you will say “play the hell out of it” well modern Poly finishes won’t ever wear down like this. The comfort of a worn in guitar is amazing. Another reason for these is if your a touring musician you don’t have to risk taking out a vintage expensive guitar and getting it stolen. I know you know all those valid reasons But choose to act like you don’t The whole fake relic debate is old That was a good discussion in the early 90s But nice try for some cool points 🤣

Only age adds age to something. So calling it ageing is a lie
@damfunk. Жыл бұрын
Aged, relic’d… it’s all semantics.. what I can say though is that Nacho makes the finest vintage Tele and Strat style guitars on the market. Fenders own custom shop could only dream of producing instruments of this quality.

If most of the guitarist in the world hated old beat up guitars…guitar builders could not get the high prices guitars that look like that get. I love old or older-looking guitars…with dents and chipped/cracked paint.
