I was asked on Mastodon by Justin from the KDE project to demonstrate how capitalization of social media hashtags affects readability in screen readers. But it's a much deeper rabbit hole than you'd think, and it turns out it's extremely important to think about. Not even throwing the cloud at the problem truly solves it, and we humans need to consider how we name things and how that affects their accessibility for the blind and dyslexic.
Not only is it important for hashtags and a social post, but I think this is a good case stufy for naming conventions in all sorts of places - code, filenames, even the names of your command-line programs. Because with a few basic steps, you can coax pretty much any speech engine into pronouncing things correctly.
