My first temperature blanket was a king size. I kept a Google doc and used Weather Underground for my temps. I also added in birthdays, holidays, our anniversary and a trip we took. I also used glitter yarn for rain and added in hail and rainbows and crocheted a thermometer with the temp color guide and wrote out the months, year and location. It really became a memory blanket. My second one I did on my channel last year and did it all in neutrals and made it more basic and gave it to my son, he helped me pick the colors. So funny we just spent 2 weeks in Lafayette Louisiana, we came home on the 17th for Christmas and my surgery and are going back on the 4th for about another week and to drive our car back home. I love the tactile of pen/pencil and paper but using Google docs/sheets is accessible anywhere I am by phone, tablet or computer.

Wow, that’s really creative! I love your use of glitter for rain and how you incorporated all those special events. Thanks Tina! Great ideas!

I always enjoy your videos and thank you for sharing so much of your knowledge and adventures with us. I am looking forward to the January challenge. I currently have four unfinished projects on the go and a long list of things I am dreaming of doing. I have some linen dishtowels on my floor loom, and a band on my inkle loom, meant to be a guitar strap. I have some roving in a pile and one bobbin spun on my spinning wheel. I’d dearly love to finish it and make something with that yarn in the new year. I also have a small crochet project of a little kitten unicorn! One of my children gave me a knitting loom as a gift and I’ve made a few hats with it. I purchased some baby alpaca luxury yarn on a special trip to Prince Edward Island in September. I did weave a scarf and would like to make a hat with my second skein, but fear my knitting talents are not yet worthy of this special yarn. I am quite intrigued by your temperature blanket. It looks so beautiful! I’m very glad you have set this challenge up and look forward to following along with you and also hearing more about your membership courses. Best wishes to you and your family. Wishing you all a lovely holiday season.
