I like to press cookie cutters into potatoes to create the major outline of a stamp. I save all kinds of tags and stuffing from objects I buy throughout the year. Some tags have a nice form, which I decorate with (self made) paper or I use them as guide to outline my own tags. Depending how they are printed, you can cut off the printed price and then it's just blank to work on. Pretty much everything is packaged with stuffing. Some of this stuffing is a pretty firm sheet of some kind of foam. This can be cut easily into shapes as well. I have 2 boxes only filled with things that may be reusable for crafting. That's quite a money saver, as we all pay for the packaging when we buy things. For example the cardboard boxes for eggs can be transformed to paper or used for sculpturing, or used for creating with kids. Toilet paper rolls usually are filled with dry dog food for my dog to unpack as treat when I leave him alone at home. Right now I'm transforming them to stars. There is so much we can do with the junk and our everyday items. There is no need to buy new plastic.
