I have to say, your tutorials are among the best online. You always stay on topic, not adding in bits of filler conversation that could ruin a person’s focus. You’re always clear and concise in your wording. You maintain a great pace, allowing for areas in the video where we can naturally pause if needed. I must say it’s an absolute pleasure learning from one of your videos. I would love it if you did a CAL type project. I’d pay for that in a heartbeat! Thank you so much!

I really like it too! It keeps it interesting and also this one has a nice close stitch. Thank you for watching and commenting!

This is a beautiful pattern! The only change I would make is to end the row, instead of a chain 1 then join, join using a half double crochet. It was less fiddly with me, especially when trying to put two double crochets in the corner.

💜 Thank you so much for this tutorial. You do an excellent job of explaining. I can see how confusing in spots the pattern would be without a tutorial. What an interesting pattern! I used Parrot Stripe Red Heart Super Saver and it is so pretty I'm going to make Place Mats or maybe make big squares and sew them together for a Table Runner. So many possibilities and a great way to use up my yarn stash. Thank you again for sharing.

Love this. Could it easily be made rectangular by adding extra stitches in the beginning?
@JonnaMartinezCrochet Жыл бұрын
You would need to start with a base. The designer said she doesn’t have any pattern yet for a rectangle. Thank you for watching!

I chain 3 for a dc, and 2 for a hdc. Beautiful blanket.
@JonnaMartinezCrochet11 ай бұрын
I used to think the same, turns out chain is actually really flexible, we do have “general rules” in crochet but It depends on more of the hight than the number of chains. If you chain too many you will have a hole. If you don’t chain enough it will pull at your work and it won’t look nice. Also if you chain loosely it will be a different length than a tight chain. Thank you for watching and commenting!
