Man, looking back at this, they DID do Cliffjumper dirty. He looked like one of the tougher Autobots and yet, he gets smacked around like a dummy by VEHICONS, and the only reason they really won was because they accidentally shot and blew up the Energon in the pit. Just...WOW. That just proves the writers only killed Cliffjumper off just so they could give Megatron someone to test out Dark Energon on, after which he got sliced in half and blown up, AGAIN. And there's no reason for him to fail at all because Arcee, ARCEE, his PARTNER, and the smallest of the Cybertronians by far, never mind the Autobots, managed to take out NUMEROUS Vehicons ON HER OWN!! Multiple times!!! I love Prime, but this is sinful. Outright sinful.

What's even worse is that the stakes are somewhat shift for the rest of the show. The Vehicons are at first dangerous warriors that can take several hits, but from here on out the Vehicons are nothing but cannon fodder and to make matters even worse, no other Autobots die and stay dead for the rest of the show. Optimus comes back and Bumblebee comes back. Cliffjumper is the ONLY Autobot to actually die...and stay dead.

2:48 This line just always made me think, like right. Arcee, Bumblebee and Bulkhead are close enough to get to the base in seconds. I feel like if let's say Bulkhead or Be had groundbridged Arcee too Cliffjumper or 2 of them go. I believe if 1 or 2 of them didn't wait for the others. That then they would ambush the cons just as they get on the lift. Then they'd jump out of the ship with Cliff and they would both be injured but they would survive.
