Probably to avoid delaying ther dead teamates spawns. When you have the point, your respawn times are longer, and if you have dead teammates when you cap, they don't respawn with the "no point" timer, but with the longer time.

Froyo is a seasoned team. It's no wonder they win every match and every tournament they are in and that's bad. Being this good comes at a cost for the well being of the community because there is a power gap between FROYO and the rest of the community, a huge power gap that no team can overcome so FROYO just sits on the top undisturbed and unchallenged.

@@feedtheorist9944 Let's be honest, even out of NA they are a hard team to pressure in any circumstance. Other countries may have strong teams, but they are best stand equal to or slightly less in experience than Froyotech. You can argue I'm wrong, but just from watching gameplay and how devoted these guys are, you are more than likely incorrect. Froyotech IS TF2 at it's pinnacle.

@@VGProtagonist froyotech are very good but they have lost their world championship title since they dodged i65. I think if they went to i65 them and Se7en would have been extremely close, although personally I think Se7en would have still won (their current roster is insane and they were on such good form in the i65 GF). Se7en is an insanely good team with a fucking terrifying roster rn, and Ascent.EU (they were Faint at i65) are also extremely good. A LAN featuring Se7en, froyo and both Ascents (if Ascent NA hadn't died, which I think they have) right now would be insane (rip BTS). I would also like to point out that froyo have never faced the best iterations of Se7en. Se7en at Rewind 2017 were way worse than they are now (AMS and alle rather than kaptain and kaidus, plus Thalash has improved so much since then) but still took froyo to 5 maps. Se7en at i63 was obviously a very poor iteration for them, but still took froyo to 5 maps (although froyo had an altered roster tbf). Se7en at Rewind II didn't have Stark and kaptain got food poisoning part way through the LAN, forcing them to bring in permzilla (who hadn't played at a top level in at least 6 months, and was never top tier at scout) to play scout and move AMS to soldier, who had played scout for the past year or so. Obviously it's not froyo's fault that Se7en had not-so-great rosters at Rewind and i63 or that Se7en got unlucky with food at Rewind II, however froyo chose not to attend i61, CPH 2019 or i65 when Se7en had beast rosters. I understand that there were actual reasons froyo could not attend i61 and CPH (like habib having school shit for CPH 2019) but bare in mind that Se7en have also faced these issues (kaptain having school shit during Rewind, forcing them to play with AMS instead) but chose to attend LANs anyway to defend/contest the title, even with worse rosters. TL;DR: yes froyo is really good but they always dodge LAN when Se7en has a beast roster so they're not as good as some blind fans think they are. Would have been sick if they had gone to i65 though, the top 4 would have been so insane (although it already was). P.S. Sorry for pretty scuffed (and overly long) reply, about to go out kinda just typed wildly lmao. Merry Christmas :)

On king of the hill, as soon as you cap, the people that are dead on your team get their spawn times extended. It is worth losing a little bit of time so that you can get your team mates back faster.

0:54 - 1:00 This exchange makes me scratch my head. Are banners this genuinely bad? Are they so unviable for competitive? It's disheartening to think that the iron bomber; the gunboats; The Direct Hit, rarely; The Escape Plan; the 3 unlockable mediguns aside from stock; The Ubersaw and one melee weapon for the scout are the only viable unlocks out of over 40-ish different weapons in the game for competitive tf2 for these classes, with everything else considered "trolling" and "off-meta". I am not counting the specialists's unlocks because they are picked in specific situations - 5 - 10% of the time, like for a last point defense or single target eliminations and even then you can just skip the option and stick to what you feel more comfortable with. Some like the engineer are not even played at all - they pick the class, build a sentry, the sentry eats 2-3 shots and dies and then the guy immedietly switches off to a generalist or a heavy, he literally sits in spawn or just outside it and switches off the moment his sentry dies.

most weapons are used in hl. banners are not bad on 6s they are just joking. yomps has used the rocket jumper before (the only good banner is the concherror). enginner worth is on his sentry and unlike hl the sentry is used on last thats why people switch to scout because hes a better killer than the enginner who has less damage and mobility. 6s people dont like heavy and hes just too easy to kill so hes saved for last too .same for pyro, theres people who run sniper 24/7 but those are also hl sniper mains which theres just a few (bo4r and corsa)

@@closegripbenchpress489 heavys problem is not that he's easy to kill. fully buffed he's pretty tanky which is why he gets picked as an off class when mobility isn't as important - i.e. when turtling. his lack of mobility is the main reason he isn't part of the meta. GRU has too much of a downside to make up for it but when soldiers whip is not blacklisted, heavy becomes more viable. if you can get to mid quickly with 450 health, you can pretty easily deny any soldiers bombing your med.
