@Leeloo_the_fox unless you yourself are a mapper, you can't say anything for sure. it might seem trivial, but remember this is source engine we are talking about. the summer update was delayed because one specific map had one specific wall in a specific spot at a specific angle and that broke the lighting for that map, but only on intel cpu's. yes, that was real. nothing is trivial when it comes to source engine jank.

If the func_detail is textured with nodraw, players won't have to render any additional graphics, and since it's func_detail, it won't cause the visleaves to be cut weirdly (or in cases when cutting the leaves would be desirable, the nodraw brush could simply be left as a world brush instead of a func_detail).

man..the easiest way to fix that would be...giving players a capsule shaped world collision instead of a cube one but.. 1) it'd require to rewrite part of the spaghetti sauce..I mean source code. 2) we'd have to be used to be more accurate...with some of the weapons *cough* all projectile based ones. oh well. Half-life 3 would be released way before this implementation is done (even if...they could just take CS:GO's code for that and slap it on TF2)

There's an easier fix than that - adding an invisible bounding box that blocks player movement. That way the only thing that would happen is they'd get stuck on that terrain.
