Actually, looking back that seems fairly obvious that that's what it's talking about even if it doesn't specify which team. I'm not sure offhand if the bug works the way it claims it does when capping with your team but I'll test it as soon as I can!

The a-pose spy is due to the game having to spawn an entirely new ragdoll for the spy's corpse, instead of just ragdolling his existing model. When he's disguised, his model changes, so when he dies, it has to spawn a new model, which is spawned in the reference pose.

yeah, the spy just stops existing in-game for everyone else except the spy player, i don't think it's something you might see if you die as a disguised spy, because on your screen you were never the class you disguised as in the first place so you just ragdoll normally. i think this can also go for ragdolling in general when you're, say, decapitated. it's not spawning in a decapitated version of your class, it's just "oh this heavy got decapitated, so spawn in a decapitated heavy." it's not registering your cosmetics so that's why your decapitated body always loses them. same goes for things like backstabs and headshots, you can usually see the cosmetics clipping or flickering in and out when it plays the animation, especially if you're using the spycicle.

For the Pain Train bug, that might be because increased damage vulnerability is coded as a damage resistance with a negative value. Thus, the Enforcer registers it as a resistance and ignores it.

it does because ragdolls are client side and the client had no way of really knowing what animation state the spy was in before he was killed. if you killed him while bumped then everything would work fine, but from far away it will teepose. this also happens with disguises because the enemy isn't told the spy's animation state because he's disguised.

There's a spy bug I once encountered in my early days of tf2 when my fiends and I would only play against bots. I ended up dominating a bot spy that was disguised as my friend wearing a gibus, and I was awarded a gibus for dominating the disguised spy bot.

You need to either port forward or use hamachi, but once your friends connect you can just "tf_bot_add" to play against bots. Though if you don't want to use a dedicated server, it is also possible (after port forwarding) to use the built in training mode or "map" command.

That Kritz enforcer start-up was so funny, I should try that sometime with me mates! That being said, I'm glad to know a lot about these now. The YER and Dead Ringer one was the most interesting one of the bunch for me, that could actually come in handy in very extreme situations, but it'd be fun to work for some fun clips using it. 12:05 Especially, I really wanna see that happen in game! About that bug with the "disguising as same team", I think what has to happen is you have to have joined the server before them and it always has to be someone who joined before in order for it to work, as that is one of the strange ways that TF2 handles mechanics in the game (like who has melee priority, for example). I know I've seen it happen before and I've done it to other people before, because my friend backstabbed me and I got auto'd to his team, and immediately after the sentry on the team I was playing as before targeted him and killed him, and we had no idea why that happened before. But thinking about it now this is probably what happened. Thanks for another fun video!

When you eventually work on Engineer, please test this bug a friend and I found today. If you pick up a pistol (with us it was a Luggermorph) while having the short circuit active, your gun arm will disappear. It crossed over from weapon to weapon, and even through taunts. The only way to end the bug that we found was dying. I’ll update with comment with any more things we’ve learned from this. We have our own bug busting to do!

Bug i found: as soldier if you equip any banner and fully charge, activating the banner and inspect, the game will bug and instead of activate the buff instead you will force to wait for inspect to end before the buff (note: you cant change weapon)

1:41 bug only works on when theres no version of that class on the enemy team as it defaults to the standard loadout of that class the reason is when spys load guns they are stored as ID numbers like ID 13 for a the default shotgun as a example but the game uses identifiers strings for spawning things in so it converts it to the weapons id like weapon_shotgun (idk exactly what it is) but classes weapons are actually done as weapon_shotgun_pyro or weapon_shotgun_hwg (heavy weapons guy) and this makes the game load a non-compatible weapon so it defaults to the spys weapon (this may not be exactly as I learned why a bit ago so dont remember well but it works generally like this)

The a pose spy ragdoll thing is because of how Source engine handles ragdoll, by physically despawning the player entity and spawning a ragdoll entity. It isn't just Spy it happens to, but it happens far more often to Spy ragdolls because the disguises confuse the game's ragdoll spawning mechanics.

I think I can explain the enforcer/pain train interaction: My theory is that instead of directly "piercing" resistances, the enforcer just ignores any "damage taken" modifiers, so that would also apply to the pain trains bonus damage modifier.

6:50 I think this may happen because the way the code may be: when you have zero Crits I imagine that it gives you a crit THEN takes away one from your counter. This way if your at zero it will add one then immediately take one away and set it back to zero. You notice this with crits because if you have 5 crits and you gain a crit (which sets it to 6) and then takes one away which would be five, this would explain why that is happening as even though you don’t have any crits you gain one and then lose a crit.

The invisible weapons glitch also affects cosmetics. So yeah, if you see a Pyro without a head, it's a Spy. The actual player is probably using one of the Pyro head cosmetics that replaces the stock head model, like the Pyromancer's Mask or the Apparition's Aspect.

Hate to be "that guy" that's really late to replying, but no. Your disguise weapon doesn't change to match your weapon automatically, you have to use the "last disguise" button (default is the b key) to manually switch your disguise weapon. However, the Hotrod tracks what you are holding, because the actual weapon is classified as a building the Hotrod will change. You could have an Engie disguise with the wrench out and have the Hotrod flip down by switching to the sapper, same with the pistol.

The Big Earner has a glitch with his "on kill" effects. Unlike most other weapons, players that die to natural hazards soon after getting hit by it, will still count and give you the boosts. You can see it happen in Soundsmith's "One Mann's Trash: Mann's Guide Bonus Clips 3" at 7:36, and he was using the Dead Ringer, was cloaked, AND was on Medieval Mode so there is no way it could have been any ammo box.

Hear is a fun thing to do as spy:whilst reloading with a revolver if you use the victory lap taunt , you can hold M1(fire) to halt the reloading of the revolver(this will also make the reload sound so you can spam reload sounds this way , although the sounds dont overlap).Aditionaly if you have an unusual taunt with creepy crawlies on(or any other that tracks body part location) it the spiders/unu taunt effect will follow your invisable reloading hands.I only know this works 100% with the stock and letranger and that last bit about the unu effect following the reloading animation was only working with the luxury lounge for me.

Hold up. Doesn't the "Showing original styles" bug when disguising still take effect with some hats that have the option to keep the original hat on the class or not? (Such as the Big Country for Engineer) It may be an old bug though, correct me if I am wrong.
