TF2C does look fun to play but when i try it myself it just always goes wrong, idk if its just bad server or what, as I did try the knockout custom weapon server and its just bad, probably because of the lag always get from it, I just wish there was a server with all those knockout server weapons, but it was just like a fun 2fort server to actually see what the weapons do, and hopefully have the server be an actual good one for people in the US or something i dont know

The one thing I wish the TF2 Classic official servers would do is add some of the custom weapons that are the most balanced to the servers or at least add some of the weapons from the official game to give the classes more diversity. Right now its mostly stock weapons, a brick for scout, soldier has that one shot clip rocket launcher and gun boats, pyro has a force of nature lite and a scythe that heal when held out and someone is on fire, demoman has the mine layer and the beta tnt which is fun, heavy has an artillery cannon and melee which is situational, medic has a decent melee that heals his teammates, sniper has the hunting rifle which is okay, and spy has a watch that increases his speed while cloaked but it drains faster. Other than those in the game, there's nothing else. Please TF2C, please more weapons to the official servers for some diversity, it sucks not having the battalions backup.

As a medic main who really loves using the crusader's crossbow, I really hope tf2c adds something functionally identical. They could ditch the medieval theme by replacing the crossbow with a gun that shoots a giant syringe instead. As long as it functions the same then idc.

What I don't hear ppl talking about is the overall framerate stability (or lack thereof) in TF2 since the 64-bit update. I've not noticed this issue (yes I know, anecdotal evidence) in my own time spent playing TF2C.

What doomed TF2 is its economy model, people took it too far and realized with huge botnets they could win big, not only that, but those cheating bots also contribute by giving valve money buying the premium

I just installed this and I'm liking the new items so far for base TF2c. Especially the Anti-aircraft Gun. I view it as the Tomislav but more fully commiting to rewarding good accuracy. Though I do miss TF2's cosmetics. I can understand if the mod creators don't want to do that just to keep things readable for the classes. I also, most of all, miss the various taunts that TF2 has. Feel like something is truly missing here.

Taunts and cosmetics are the kind of issue, it's what makes the funny clips, like for example, someone laughs at like let's say a Scout and they just killbind. I reallllly hope they can get to like making cosmetics and taunts with readable class value, without making the hats just lose all coolness... Do they still have cosmetics for regular two team gameplay ?

I say: abandon TF2, give the finger to Valve, adopt TF2C as TF2, and funnel all efforts into TF2C. To be a realistic cynic, this #SaveWhateverTheF*ck is cute and all, but it is a joke. Valve doesn't care and they don't have to, why should they? They're making money by doing nothing; the American Dream, why change? I mean, you can keep doing what you're doing, but Gabe will die from old age before anything changes. Now I would love to be proven wrong, *elated* even, but in this dystopic reality, that's a fat chance. Like the saying goes: "nothing _good_ lasts forever." It never said anything about _Bad_ .
